This song got so little radio play in the USA back in 1985 and '86, as did "I Like You" (although "I Like You" did get a lot of dance club play.) They just don't make them like this anymore. Europe -- and in particular, the UK -- has always had a better ear for American soul music than Americans... There is a saying which goes: "In the USA, you're ONLY as HOT as your last hit... ...In EUROPE, you're ALWAYS as HOT as your last hit."

I still remember her like yesterday. And honestly her song "I Like You" was played to death on the top 40 station KISS 108 fm Medford/Boston. And also on numerous college radio stations in Souther New England. The video got airplay on B.E.T.'s Video Soul music program in the mid to late 80's. I shoud know because I am heavy into dance and pop music today. As well as owning this masterpiece "I Like You." : )
