Prices will depend on what happens to the economy, if as predicted we see a huge recession next year then and a stock market and house price crash then prices will bomb because far too many cars are bought by people who think that they are an investment. All they want to do is tell their mates how much their DBS Manual or V12S Manual has gone up in 'value' If you want an Aston to drive, then sit tight and wait because very soon the market will be flooded with very good value cars, just like it was in 2008/9

Hybrid sales are to end in 2032 so that's an extra 2 years of jungle juice. Add to this, petrol sales won't just finish with the last new ICE car sold - they will still require fuel. Average life span of an average car is 14 years in the UK. 2032 + 14 = 2046.
On that basis, we've still got a firm 25 years of fuel to play with.
The above assumes that 2030 / 2032 is fixed in stone. Let's not forget that 2030 is at minimum TWO general elections away and a sound bite from the government of today cannot bind their successor.
In short, 25 years worth of petrol minimum but probably significantly longer. However, getting out there and burning as many dead dinosaurs as possible is the same attitude I intend to stick with too. Sod Gretta and her ilk!

"E10 is going to come along." Really? That's been typical in much of the US for at least a decade. Much longer in some places.
