There's just something special about (G)I-DLE when it comes to live performances, especially compared to other new gen groups.* They understand the actual concept of a performance, with all its production and theatricality, so they work hard to make theirs *unforgettable.* Especially Soyeon, which ofc it can be just a result of her experience as a participant in several competition shows throughout her career. But it truly seems like for her: *every performance is an opportunity to show the group's skills and what they can offer, so they make sure to take full advantage of it bc they might not get another one.* And, considering the current state of the kpop industry and its oversaturation, I personally think that's so important to keep in mind! I mean, if a group ain't from a big company or isn't already estabilished with years of hard work like BTS, Mamamoo, Gfriend (all originally from small labels), how else can anyone stand out now?
*I'm not discrediting other groups, but I think we can all agree I-DLE's performances tend to stand out a lot and even people who don't stan them, end up talking about it.

i agree... to be honest nowadays kpop fans only look for idols with good choreographies not with the songs or the vocals... i'm not saying that the other groups aren't good in the singing but it was like kpop now is more on dance than vocals... (g)i-dle for me was one of the groups with the best and unique vocals and good songs... they really define the part of idols being more on a singer than dancers

Their performance in MMA 2018 was a reaaaal goosebumps, the fact that they are literally less than a year old rookies at that that time yet they gave the best performance of the night and shocked both the audience and the senior groups attending the event. Imagine Soyeon, in top 10 fastest k-pop rappers, leader of one of the top 10 best female new gen K-pop groups, songwriter, solo artist, gay icon, 100% queen and much more, was once selfconcious about beeing "different" from the other 101 trainees because she didnt fit into the general beauty standards of k-pop. I am so proud to see her to be so successful now and of course all the other members too

(g)i-dle was really one of a kind... from concepts, vocals, member's nationality and everything they stand out a lot among the other gg nowadays... they're very unique and that's why i love them... they dont follow any trendy concept and just have fun making their own music and following their own concepts... for me they are versatility queens they slay every concept even señorita and uh oh concept that only few appreciate i think they still did great on that

I got goosebumps when Miyeon Minnie and Yuqi harmonized in kiss it better cover , Soyeon - hey mama performance , shuhua solo dance and soojin solo dance on i-land concert
Put it straight (Nightmare version) was just spectacular. Soyeon, Minnie and Soojin were especially emotive in that performance (although all were QUEENS). I loved the girls covering 'All that Jazz too'- the sass was insane. I could imagine them on Broadway or in the West End. G-Idle definitely have the best voice over intros too. Soojin's dance solos are mesmerising.

Im a blackjack, I watched Queendom because of Park Bom and I have no idea about the other groups, so when G) i-dle performed Lion 🦁 I was shookt! I was like, WHO ARE THESE QUEENS!!? they got me really hooked! never seen a group like them, I like their theatrical performance, their gothic vibe and stage presence, versatility and originality. they are really distint from other groups, may it be old gen or new gen, they really stand out on their own. Im so happy that after 2ne1 I finally found a new group to really stan, just like how I stan The Legendary 2ne1, and I believe (G) i-dle is also a Legendary group in the making 💕

all the solos in the I-LAND ONLINE CONCERT gave me the most chills I've ever had in my life
the two parts in the lion queendom performance that give me goosebumps are when soyeon finishes her rap with "i'm a queen" and the silence right before the guitar kicks in and they start the last chorus (this gives me chills just listening to the song too) + the end when they sit on their thrones. it was such a power move. i'm a moomoo and i think they deserved to win, but if queendom were ranked differently, this performance alone is worth first place.

for almost 12 years knowing kpop i've only stanned one gg (snsd) until i met idle 😭😭😭 their stages make me want to likeee perform like them and i cant help but just feel like a proud mom watching them amazingly perform 🥺 i started just before omg era after watching queendom uwu i love em. they also have their own special characters and it's like they're really meant to be tgt as a group, they're shining together!!!! 💕
they are definitely one of the best and most successful of their generation.
they literally came from the bottom and worked their way up into the kpop industry. went from taking pictures by trash cans and in alleyways, little to no promotion predebut, all the way to winning countless awards, being self made, and even being nominated for a KMA (korean grammy) for LION. the girls have come such a long way :( so proud to see them grow and prosper.
you just gotta love every stage of idle’s... they amaze me every single time with something new! i can not wait for the award shows at the end of the year, so that we can appreciate their live stages again!!! amazing, and welcome to NEVERLAND!💞

10:14-10:20 THAT was my one of my favorite parts of this performance, Soyeon is just so amazing, she made her smile look so creepy (Like the theme they were going for, scary looking ig u could say) which made me just feel scared but so in love with her at the same time. Absolutely agree!!!! Great choices- the girls excelled themselves with these. Minnie=queen of voice over and intros. All the girls were insane in Put it Straight- Soyeon was straight fire uncontrollable rap. The OMG trailer was inspired and the main vocals SLAYED All that Jazz.
Latata era was really something. There were so much remix, intro, outro etc... Latata's intro in Queendom was amazing too.
A performance that definitely gives me goosebumps is their stage performance of Put It Straight (Nightmare version) in Queendom. It's what made me want to check them out. They're truly amazing. I hope that I'll be able to see them live someday.
