Here is a flight purely from the viewer's perspective. I like to show this side of it because to me when flying FPV it looks like I"m flying much faster and further away than I actually am. It was pretty windy this day and I had a nice direct crosswind so it made for a nice practice for me on my crosswind landings. I'll post the FPV version of this flight soon.
@@jessdyba I totally get it. Everything looks much faster and larger than it actually is. When you are coming in on final try not to look at the ground. Look at the horizon in front of you. You should be able to get a better judgement of the distance between your plane and the ground this way. Also, if you are using a flight controller it isn't a bad idea to go ahead and flip it into Horizon Mode to help your wings stay level while landing. This will help you build confidence while you are getting more FPV take offs and landings under your belt. Horizon Mode is like an Intermediate Safe Mode on the Spektrum Receivers. It isn't a full-on Safe Mode. Just a thought. 😃
@@jessdyba That was just a suggestion. Using Horizon Mode might become a crutch anyway. Lol. The first part of what I said is more in line with landing an actual plane. These are just toys anyway. As long as they can survive the bounce. 😉

I'm still struggling a bit with landings...hard to judge distance to ground and airspeed in fpv.
