This video covers Assessment Criteria 3.1 'Explain the role of agencies in social control' and 3.4 'Evaluate the effectiveness of agencies in achieving social control' specifically looking at the police and CPS. hiya! for the evaluation how many strengths and weaknesses would you suggest would be needed to be written in an exam? thanks! :o)
Great question! It fully depends on the amount of marks awarded. Most evaluate questions are 9 marks for at least 7 different points with stats, cade studies, key words and examples with full justification. To be absolutely sure to achieve full marks, I would learn 4 strengths and 4 weaknesses for each section :)

with the advanced information, do we only need to revise whats on it or still revise everything?
My advise if focus most time on the areas they specify but then make sure you have a good understanding of the rest especially case studies, stats and laws as this will really help across topics. For example the advanced info expects you to be able to evaluate probation (3.4) but knowing probation itself (3.1) would help too :)

Hi Zarah, I'm really pleased the coverall helped. It is in the membership section as part of the bonus materials. There is no coverall for this year though, I only did it last year for the 2022 exam as the exam board reduced the content :)

Hi, I am currently finishing off the videos for the unit two exam on Friday but then focusing on unit 4 so hopefully Wednesday :)
