its pretty likley that he will also show the rider how to continue to teach/ train the horse once it has left his facilites. once a peson knows what to do then usually everything is fine and if not then usually you can recontact them for adviece...

@wildhearthorses he calls the owner to come and work with the horse under his tuition for a week or so i think, i have seen videos of him getting a horse working then giving the owner a lesson afterward so the horse does not go back over.

I stopped taking "just the horse" in training 30+ years ago. Instead, I expect a commitment from my students to learn how to train their own horse. My students w/green horses have ranged from a 9 y/o girl with a 4 y/o off the track TB mare that only had race training to an 80 y/o lady with a green 6 year old.
Easier for me to train the horse, do a lesson or two with the owner & send them home. Far better though to train them together, phase me out of the equation & then they are true partners.

hyperfocus2011 i agree! Horses do not put bits in each others mouths and pull on reins. Equus is something else. Liberty training, respect, not fear the pain

What's the alternative? He showed us nothing.

The horse told you no but you're still not listening.
