Bad Weather Rough Start Opener!

- We head down to Brooks Alberta for the season opener. Previous bad weather and lingering high winds make for a rough start but shore fishing rolling hills reservoir inlet canal saves the day and produces some action with one walleye caught. We then head back to Brooks, grab a hotel room and get ready to launch the boat on lake Newell the following day.

Hey James! Good to see you out. I'm glad you're getting rain. Maybe that will help the fire conditions. The wind looked brutal. I wouldn't go out on that either. Tin can.. ha. It's not good for my Seahawk either. Haha. It's still windy at Rolling Hills, too. Safer off the shore no doubt. Not skunked! I hope we can get out fishing this coming weekend. I can't wait. Long over due.
