I’m usually the type that doesn’t rlly comment on videos but since it’s almost christmas I just wanted to say that your videos are so comforting and brings me joy every time you upload. Please keep up the good work Harrison!
That‘s not just a fancy restaurant with food you would normally never eat, this is culinary experience on a whole new level - all the little details in the presentation and the amount of thoughts that went into every single moment of the experience is what flabbergasted me! It‘s not only dinner, it‘s a multi-dimensional theatre show just for yourself… that is well worth a couple hundred dollars!
They both are cool. His husband? Boyfriend? (Hoping for husband, as I'd love to go there with my wife) is also very cool. This is probably the best customer video I've seen on the Fat Duck.
Your sense of wonder at foods never ceases to amaze me - you are also costing me a fortune as I try some of these places every time I am in London. I'm seem to somehow know more about food now. Thanks for another great video
My young daughters and I watch you because you remind me so much of my wonderful brother and their fantastic uncle who lives 100s of miles away. We only get to see him twice a year so watching you is like getting to spend time with him. Thank you for bring joy into our family home
Heston hugely inspired me as a teenager too, loved his tv shows in the late 2000s. He was the nearest to Willy Wonka we had in the UK 😆I wish him well with his mental health struggles he's been having, he's a top guy.
Watching your genuine excitement throughout this culinary journey was incredible! Heston's creativity and your enthusiasm made this video absolutely magical! 🎄✨
Watching this video had me in tears. Isn't amazing how food can not only taste good, but move you emotionally? I remember sitting on the outside deck of a winery in Temecula, California eating a steak with chimichurri that was so unexpectedly beautifully prepared that I was taken aback. As I sipped wine overlooking the orchard where the grapes were grown to make it and eating the food I started crying. That meal took me to a place and through emotions that I'd never experienced before and became a top memory in my life.
This is my actual dream! I’ve always wanted to go to the fat duck since watching Heston on tv I’ve been obsessed! The fat duck is top of my bucket list!
Hi Samantha, it was my longtime dream (I’m 57 now) and this year, I finally went as they do tables for 1 (no one I know would spend so much or appreciate it). It was an amazing experience, well worth the money and would recommend at least once. I had the non alcoholic drink pairing too and it was great. I hope you get to go too! Merry Christmas.
What an incredible experience! Visiting The Fat Duck for their Christmas menu sounds like a dream come true. The dishes look so innovative and beautifully presented, especially the Nitro-Poached Aperitifs and the King’s Venison. I love how Heston Blumenthal always pushes the boundaries of traditional dining. Definitely adding this to my bucket list! 🍽✨
Never seen you before but this is by far one of the best documented food experiences I have ever seen. I felt like I could taste and smell every experience with you. 10 out of 10. Just brilliant. Thankyou and Merry Christmas.
Omg, your joy at trying everything made me SO happy!! How lovely that someone who appreciates great food... appreciated great food!! Your happiness has made my day 😄😁
I’ve eaten at two different Michelin Star restaurants and seeing you do this brings back how extraordinary it is to experience food of this calibre. So fun to watch you enjoy it Harrison!
My parents won vouchers for The Fat Duck years ago and they got served cold snail porridge, a dessert that looked like the Mad Hatters Watch and about 10 other crazy dishes. They saw so many celebrities while they were there too! A crazy experience to say the least
Harrison......Just amazing! Thank you so much for sharing this incredible experience. Your reactions were brilliant, especially loved it when you giggled like a little boy when surprised. Lots of love from Melbourne (41 Degrees today) X
Harrison, you're by far my favorite UA-camr, my wife and I love watching your videos. You're just so genuine and humble. What a fantastic way to enjoy Christmas. Anytime you're in NY, you're welcome anytime!
Any time you get invited to see the kitchen I get so excited! It's always the highly awarded restaurants too which is crazy to me, but it goes to show Michelin stars and highly awarded dining establishments are not awarded solely on their extraordinary food, but they extraordinary SERVICE. You've made me add this spot to my bucket list for sure!
Thank you for giving us, who will never get to London, this experience. I have followed this chef for years wherever I could possibly see or read about him. I am completely amazed.
Over lockdown, Christmas was “cancelled” so my wife and i decided to geek out on Michelin star techniques to make the perfect roast. If you haven’t tried it, it’s a great way to spend a Sunday together with some wine and your wife telling you you’re doing it wrong : ) We ended up having the best roast we’ve ever had, just by taking our time and following recipes carefully, but still adding our own thoughts. I’m sure this 3 Michelin star is way above what we created, but irregardless - grab your wife/husband and make a lovely day of it. Merry Christmas everyone x
Just had to subscribe when you got excited over the pine drink. It's brilliant to habe that excitement for life. Don't ever change. This was a good and honest video. Love it
That was just phenomenal! What an experience you had. Heston is a genius and he continues to still come up with these amazing ‘foods!’ Fabulous video and am so glad I found your channel-loving it 🥰🇦🇺
I remember a Hell’s Kitchen episode where a guy made a dish with scallops, white chocolate, and caviar, and Gordon Ramsay asked if the dude was high 😂 Then Ramsay tasted it, spit it out, and said it was the worst combination of flavors ever. I wonder what Ramsay would think of the scallop & white chocolate & caviar dish Harrison had 😂
That hells kitchen contestant also used capers 🤢 I suppose with the right technique and sensitivities, it could work. But that chef was not at a level where he could competently put those flavours together.
What a treat for eyes, ears, and apparently tummy. People pay $300 for a Day of waiting in line at Disney World. I’ll gladly pay that to be treated with such great respect.. and one of a kind tasties. Amazing. Thanks for giving us the visceral experience.
Watching this video while eating a dinner of vegemite sandwiches in my bed, at 9:30pm, really puts all of this into perspective. It does look amazing though, I'm glad you had a great time!
We were fortunate enough to eat at the Fat Duck about 20 years ago… incredible experience, even with a twenty minute power cut about two hours into the meal. Sound of the sea, snail porridge, the lot. I did, however, have to pop into a petrol station on the way home for a grab bag of salt and vinegar discos.
Bray is an amazing village. Not just the Fat Duck, but also the Waterside (both 3 ⭐). Prefer the Waterside for the sitting by the river and Roux family are amazing. Once a year thing, but same as someone going abroad to watch a football game, whatever ticks your box. Glad you enjoyed 👍
Thanks Harrison, for sharing this with us. It bought back memories and at 57, I felt as excited and wondrous as you. There are a few judgmental comments about spending a lot of money on a meal. I have dreamed of going to the Fat Duck since it opened and finally went this year on my own (they do a table for one). I found the staff really friendly and lovely. I’m not posh, raised in a council house and had to save for ages to go. It did not disappoint and worth every penny. I don’t drink so had the non alcoholic drinks pairing and it was great. Some people like expensive electronics, some like to travel, some of us like food, don’t judge others for their choices.
... Harrison, watching you make your way through your Meal was like Christmas Morning for me. Your Joy made me Joy-Full! Thank YOU for this video and Thank YOU for a year filled with YOU. Happy Christmas to You + Your Loved Ones and can't wait to see what you gift us with in 2025! G xx
I am not a great fan of pretentious commentary or insight with food, the skill you have, and it's kind of rare, is that you convey enjoyment and disappointment with equal measure, comedy, warmth and this contribution was really fun to watch.
Love your videos. What a way to enjoy my morning coffee. You are adorable the way you appreciate the things and people around you. Merry Christmas from California!
You have literally lived my dream!!! I was getting soo excited with you! That was amazing. Thank you for taking us on this experience with you. That sweet shop at the end, looked absolutely EPIC!
Was pals with hestons son jack growing up and had the privilege of eating here a few times, what a place. Jack actually owns a chicken wing shop in marlow you should check it out its quality mate!
How much was it? UPDATE:- I have just looked at the website and the 12 course meal is £450 ......... per person. There is a smaller lunch menu, about 6 courses and that is £250 p/p.
Oh wow. What an incredible experience. Far more than just a nice meal is laid before you at the Fat Duck. A fully immersive exploration of flavours never tasted and emotions of delight and incredible anticipation. I’d for sure at points, cry like a baby because of being overwhelmed or lacking the language to express my feelings. Great video and it’s wonderful to see a UA-camr with many experiences still be thankful and appreciative of where his videos have taken him.
You remind me of my friend from Long Island, but like a british version of him. Your videos have entertained me so much in recent weeks, so glad i found your channel! Merry Christmas & All The Best For 2024 🎉🎄🍽
What an amazing dining experience! I could feel your joy radiate outwards, thank you for sharing. How much did this cost please if you don't mind answering? I'm just curious.

I have to say out of many Michelin restaurants out there, the fat duck probably is the only restaurant that I actually wanted to go to, such an amazing restaurant that.
I literally only just discovered your channel today, and I love your videos. Nothing over the top and so entertaining. I actually have tears running down my face watching that. hahaha. Now I'll have to find a Michelin star restaurant in my state of Florida. Thanks for sharing!
It is so much better when people who actually love food do these. Harrison is exactly how I would be in there. Jealous? Yes. Happy for him? Yes!
Honestly so real. When UA-camrs who know nothing about food do this they honestly don’t appreciate it and it really takes away from the vibe of the video
Spot on. This is such a breath of fresh air from UA-camrs who do this just for the money getting them views. Harrison is epic!
@@Nooticus he's a legend

One of the first things you learn in cooking is the importance of all 5 senses in food. Heston just takes the concept to another level
