The hole on top is not to spray water is a ventilator for the hatching stage if you spray water on the hole you will get the fan and heating element wet the spray bottle is to spray the eggs but not true the hole you have to open the encubator!
Did you have a problem with the eggs rotating properly? I have this exact incubator and am curious if the rotations are working correctly. Any advice on that?
In my video I tested my rotation with a egg and I put a dot on it to see if it was rotating and it was, but the only problem i had was every few hrs when I check on them they all bunch up to one side so I would have to spread them out again, to make sure they are all rotating but other than that it was great and I had a successful hatch!
do you need the styrofoam insulation layer? I have the same incubator but because of its design I'm not able to see into it, and I have to open it up every time I want to check the humidity. This is fine now, but when they start to hatch I won't be able to open it up to check, or else they will dry out. Any tips? Thanks ^^
I live in a state that isn't too warm so I needed the insulation on the outside but if you have the incubator somewhere that is pretty warm and can keep the heat in without the insulation you can take it off, I just looked through the tiny opening on the side while they hatched. Hello and thanks for the video . Does the eggs turn on their own or i have to do special settings ? And do i need to spray water over when hatching chicken eggs ?? And how often , Sorry for the many questions and thanks fr answering them
Yes the eggs turn on their own with the rollers, the manual tells you which setting it is. If you have a humidity reader you will only spray when you want to raise the humidity but other than that I didnt have to spray at all.
I only opened it when I had to adjust the humidity, which was when I put it into lockdown the humidity went very high up and I opened the vent, but it didn't really help so I would put something under the lid to not close completely in order to get the humidity to the correct setting. And good luck what type of eggs are you incubating?
@@stephanieyang9168 ok thanks i think ill leave it half open and see how i get on, im hatching 22 japanese courtnix quail eggs & another 7 in the cheap manual 7 egg incubator also to compare results.

I’m getting this incubator today hopefully as getting quail eggs tomorrow. Did you find the egg rollers worked ok on the tiny eggs ? Thanks for sharing nice job on the lovely buttons 🐣.
Yes, it did work well with the small eggs. The only problem I had was sometimes the eggs would get crowded over to one side and i would have to spread them out again, but that wasn't so bad. And also the netting at the bottom the holes were big so I added a non slip mat cut to size when it was time for lockdown just so the chicks don't fall through to the water wells.
sophie xiong thanks did you need to change the heat or roller settings? Did you find it held the right temperature ok. Mine just turned up and I’m reading instructions as haven’t worked it out quite yet, your videos helped though
Ayyy que yo estoy de las misma, no entiendo nada, este video que lo encontré por casualidad me a dado un poco de luz, pero no acabo de entender lo de la humedad, saludos
I recommend getting a humidity reader and setting it inside so you can see what it reads. Then add a little water to see if the humidity gets to the temp you need. It really depends on where you live, and what season it is. In my house the humidity was about 50 so I only needed a little water, but if you live in an area where the humidity gets high then you might not need to add water at all.
