Hey Cal, been in love with your videos, your business, and your drive since these first popped into my reccomended. Clearly your socials guy is doing well for this kind of growth, and I love your ability to joke about but also provide serious and proper information like this. Couple questions/inquiries.. - Would you do a video on pricing random watches you pick up and how you came to that conclusion. Obviously there is a lot of volatility and the prices themesleves might be outdated in a few weeks depending on market conditions at that time etc, but things like pricing a slightly worn Rolex vs brand new, does an original box vs a matching but not original box matter, explaining how much a polish on a watch might deduct from value. This kind of information would be a bit "spoon feeding" but highly informative in helping viewers understand a fundamental part of valuating products - With the increase in production of new Rolexes (new factories), and the slight decrease recently in the grey market, how do you think this would affect your business, or someone looking to startup. While you are smart in still doing deals on lower end items and know that part of the market exceptionally well, Rolex's are clearly still the big movers that are majorly repsonsible for cash flow. Would dealers having minimal or no wait times be of much affect? Or will the grey market business' like yours simply switch to a more value proposition/second hand offer? Also some more studio lighting would go hard, I'm sure your social media guy will be all over it. All your hard work on this channel will be SO worth it, keep at it ya heavy's.
Great content Cal. You’re sharing great insight to a growing business. Congrats to you and business partners for sticking to the plan, backing yourself, and keeping on. 🎉 Cheering you on
My favorite 2024 is the Prospex Limited Edition 1965 Recreation European Exclusive in Gradation Island Blue. The dial is stunning and the contrast when on a white strap is to die for. I will get my hands on one from MAMACOO
Great Video!!! Does physical location matter? I am located in northern Ontario Canada, the market for face to face sales would be difficult in my small town. Do you think starting off as an online presents only would be worth it?
idk if i missed it in the vid but id assume if you are studying/evaluating the market, you would look around various marketplaces to get a gauge on the prices right?
Hey bro, I am from Melbourne I have been wanting to get into the watch game for quite some time now, but seeing someone local doing this has newly motivated me. I would like to learn a couple tips from you and get the ball rolling, I am yet to buy my first high end watch and I would like to buy one from you just to start a relationship with you budget isnt the highest but hopefully we can work something out.
Great vid, please can you upload another vid on how to start selling watches - one more in depth step by step like 30-40min vid I think it would blow up due to the high demand for this, keep it up and congrats on the success 🎉🎉.
Great video, well spoken, need better lighting and the audio had constant water dripping noise tripped me out for a good minute. Other than production quality the information & the vlogs outside are 10/10 quality, love the info excellent work!
Hey Cal, The UA-cam vids are getting better in leaps and bounds. Loved the content man it's awesome to see you raw, you're a natural in front of the camera. Just one comment, the quad wristing (while baller) was super distracting for me and I think someone of your position would do better with one *heavy* piece. Lighting was mint, total time was great, this content was brilliant! Love to see more!
It's sad that watches that look good cost over 1k+. MAMACOO watches are REALLY well made, and it just shows how a brand name on a watch can make its price 10x higher. I understand that if you look under a microscope, you'll find the difference, but just how many of you really inspect a watch at that level when you see someone with a watch?

There are so many clones coming in where parts are swapped out for originals. Auction houses have been selling them and purchasers have no idea.

As a broke boy and actual enthusiast who wants watch’s prices to crater, amzwatch is a good choice.
