TGLTN explains what he thinks is the best PUBG resolution and why... - Ігри
That was very educational TGLTN, it kind shuts down an eternal debate.
Much appreciated & good luck for the PGC !
1728 also runs slightly easier so if you need that that's a benefit of it.
i use it because i have used in csgo to play really bad res tbh and yea my pc aint the best im using 1728x1080 or 1060
Please make an in depth video about your sound settings too I can't tune it right on my laptop for shit despite using nice logitech speakers that should have the range to make it sound correctly despite my laptop's audio card not being too great. I had it set decently on a headset but it messed up all other audio on my system literally. I don't have this issue with any other game than PUBG, so I would very much appreciate you going in depth about everything that matters as you understand it yourself!
fx sound
watching it on 2024 and saw some of your streams lately, i guess you're not on 1080p res anymore? @1:04 any updated videos as to why you're not pissed off anymore? thanks! :)
dude ty for this
well if u want to see bigger objects change to 4:3 and remove blackbars then ull see beans on top of bodies instead regular human head... this is how i played csgo for years decreased sens(cuz when u make 4:3 on 16:9 monitor and remove blackbars ur sens feels like high)
And that's the way the cookie crumbles
TG did he use koreanrating ? And if he play 1920x1060 did he need to use full screen or no scaling will work as well ?
He is using koreanrating
i have no idea what i am doing wrong but i am not able to get my custom resolutions showing in game........ any help?
how do I remove the black bars in game?
how do get the 1920 x 1060 on a zowie 1080P available?
For me personally, 1728 just feels better, I like the "dulled" sharpness. Sprays always felt better to me on 1728. On 1920, everything is like super sharp, and the edges of objects become like sparkly/glimmerly.
Isn't that due to lack of anti aliasing more than having a higher resolution?
@@gaddy555 Partially I would guess?
If you were to use AA on 1920, it'd just look blurrier in a bad way, and cost alot of FPS.
I think 1728 has a nice amount of blur with no AA.
how u remove black bars
@@Tipsyfr Black bars on 1728?
Nvidia control panel > adjust desktop size and position > scaling > fullscreen.
That should do it.
@@Tipsyfr and if you still didnt manage to remove bb, switch from Display scaling on GPU scaling in nvidia control panel and it will work 100%.
I don't understand benefit of 1060 instead of 1080?
TGLTN how about 1920 x 1080 resolution
and why did you leave with resolution 1920 by 1080
full screen or borderless? full screen will have black bars on top and bottom
....aaaaand after that Jimmy played stretched for few days and was actually considering playing it on PGC 🤔 the cycle goes on I guess 🥰
I don't ge t it
i have 21:9 34" monitor and i have desktop resolution and game resolution to 3440x1440 Do I need to lower my game resolution? what is your opinion on ultrawide monitors
so if you do 1728 x1060 you would have both goodies? ;P
Record as many guides as possible!
what about running through pochinki and spotting someone roof ratting because of vertical fov from 1728?
What about black bars with 1728? Nvida scaling to fullscreen doesnt help
i play on 720p with potato pc that give me result 15 fps
and i killed no one
And what is the vertical sensitivity and sensitivity of the sights of the tltn
Эй даун там каждый свою чувствительность должен настраивать
How you get that resolution
so I only one playing it on 4K or even 8K downscaled to 4K 🤔
When I started playing I was also using 1728 because of a friend who recommended me, but I'm practically new to PUBG and I felt inconsistencies when I went from pubg 1728 to other games in 1920, The main thing is that you feel more sensitivity in the X axis in 1728 and in 1920 the Y axis is more sensitive
Whatever the res do u have, if ur good in the game ur good!! Nothings change... Which do u prefer as long ur comfortable.. It is not the resolution the reason why they play sick its the hard work of trainning pays of, so stop comparing..
TG is 1728 resolution suitable for unit with gpu 1060? are there any consequences?
1920-192=1728 or 10%
how do you even get that res?
In how many Hz you play pubg "MONITOR" ?
i dont need and explanation i need to know how tf to set the game to these settings....its not even in the game settings for me??
4 by 3 is love
Thanks.
Say i used a 24 inch monitor. Do i still have to switch it down to 1728?
thats whyt native better for those tho dont know the stretch between 4:3(1400x1050/1440x1080) or 5:4 (more stretch than 4:3{1280x1024) it does looks ur target big and thicc but when u shoot at far range just like tgltn said 150m its became tiny yeah it its true but when u using the native 16:9 the target just look the same as the resolution and when u zoom in the target became bigger or closer unlike stretch
but im like using 16:10 its just perfect for me not to native and not too stretch just balanced between stretch and native at same time its like u see what in real life
@@seve7nin9e31 ik this is a 4mo comment but just so you you know, pubg stretched doesnt work like in other games. In like 2018 it did, i used to play 1440x1080p but they patched it so that you can't play 4:3, and 16:10 has the exact same field of view as 16:9 ( = models are the same thickness on both). I still play 1728 because higher fps but it doesn't give any model advantage like in cs2, r6 or tf2.
the wider type you find it i think in 1680x1050
I started playing 1440 x 1080 and now I can't play anything that isn't that or similar 1920x1080 makes my brain melt
i still play on 1920 nuttin different than orther players using 1728, if u shot like shitt dont complain the resolotion
Thank You For Your Wisdom Brother!!!
Thanks doctor Deagleton
So which is better 1720 or 1920. I'm sorry i just couldn't understand him
1920
The feel could be better, but technically it doesn’t make any difference
What about 2k? What res i should use?
2304x1440
i have weird black boxes when using other res than 1920x1080
fix it with ur Nvidia Control Panel. Google it at all :D
How does he play stretched while on 1920 x 1080 what??????
Uhhhhhh yeah that make sense
if I set my own resolution and Nvidia, it is not displayed in PUBG. what am I doing wrong? in other games it works without problems.
Set launch options on steam
-ResX= -ResY= then, in-game press f11 twice
1440x1080 not great ?
Kindof make sense
I have a Xiaomi Curved 34" with a native resolution of 3440×1440. What resolution should I set in the game to see objects "closer" and experience the benefits discussed in the video?
You could check if it stretches your image like in other games when you're on 2560x1440 (lower fov, thicker models), if it doesn't then either play native or 2560x1440 with black bars
Update, you can manually stretch your image to whatever you want by setting the res in launch options and then pressing alt+enter twice when ingame. I'd probably play 2560x1440 stretched to fullscreen if I were you.
But if a have an 1440p monitor? 😶
If you want the same effect for 1440p do 2304x1440
It's true also monitors with native 3440×1440 resolution?
Thanks
God bless you
Why i dont have this resolution?
1024x768 best res.
the BEST
Can someone dumb this down for me, so is he saying he prefers 1060 to 1728? Just wanted to clarify so I can test it myself. Thank you.
1728x1080
but why is 1060 ? not even 1080
is it weird that I still didn't understand which res he uses?
He uses 1920 x 1080
@@nachocz8097 thanks man. I also didn't understand
The thing is it doesn't matter. You play what feels best for you. A lot of people seem to think that if they copy streamer settings/popular res settings it'll make them better at the game. It won't. lol
@@CocaineCobain thank you for this 🙏
but the fps increeaso also sooo for who dont have top machine 1728 is better
Useful
Use 1080 x 1080
and me watching this while playing in 2k
same ;D
hm so I have a 1440p 32" monitor and play in this resolution. Do would change resolution and when yes which?
2304x1440 is the highest 16:10 res for 1440p monitors. Would make the game look wayyyy better on a 32" monitor
@@rFey why would it look wayyy better with lower res? makes no sence
@@jorgjorgsen7528 If he wants 16:10 he should use the highest possible 16:10 resolution, which is 2304x1440 on a 1440p monitor. (It will look "way better" like i said)
The video is about 16:10 vs 16:9 resolutions, and this guy says he plays 1728x1080 on a 32" monitor which just looks awful, even normal 1080p looks awful on 32" monitors... Just play 2304x1440 instead, that's my whole argument

Hi TGLTN,
what about G-SYNC any thoughts on that ?
Disable g sync it add latency to ur input. Better to cap fps for least input delay
@@sefs257 cap fps? More fps = less input lag
@@bolo38 the less load there is on the gpu the less latency there is based on tests, the downside is that u wont use the gpus full potential unless it is above the recommended game requirements
@@sefs257 well i watched this and watched other videos testing fps cap. First of all these are old tests, second it only worked for couple of games. In most games it was increasing input lag. Its super inconsistent, you dont know how its working now with new drivers and update games. Its obviously some sort of engine bug? you can notice that it ONLY works with in-game frame cap, if you use external cap it will increase input lag like it should. Anyway how you suposed to frame cap PUBG when your frames are all over the place ranging from 80-250 for most ppl. How you can achive that sweet 95% gpu usage, its imposible asuming its still working today... For me this makes 0 sens, and i call bullshit on that
@@bolo38 idk bro i j set my ingame cap to my refresh rate and it has minimal delay
did he just switched on 1920x1060? dafuq
Stretches vert fov = bigger enemies
why is 1920x1060 better than 1080p tho :D
Bigget enemies since vertical fov is stretched
But how do they hit i just don’t understand the physics to control the spray
Well i have to disagree because i did same test and my FOV horizontally totally stretches when changing from 2560x1440 to 3440x1440
Lol you didnt even do the right method. Increasing your horizontal resolution isnt "stretching" it, thats the opposite. thats why tgltn saying no point in stretching resolution with 1728. you have to lower your horizontal resolution than your monitor's native display resolution to see stretched res. So example if you have 1920x1080 res as native u must use something lower like 1440x1080.
@@sefs257 my screen is 3440x1440, it stetches when I set 2560 my miatake
But it doesnt stretch anymore when i set below 16:9 it is just ultrawide on 21:9 resolution
@@Kitek-gk8kw you need a 16:9 native res for the proper stretch res effect

How should i calculate this, if im playing 2k (2560x1440)

How does 2304 feel?

what should i play if im playing 1920x1200
does this work in other shooters?
Yes
@@Levi-cl6wf ive been waiting for an eternity... thank you🤲
@@pnxda np i got you
I mean if 1728 only makes your FOV shorter and doesn't change the width then it cannot even be considered "stretched". It's more like "compressed". And if it only really makes player models smaller then what's the point? Why even bother? Is there really such a need for less perceived recoil?
"Just play the game..."
why is he using 1920x 1060 tho wtf?
It's all preference. Everybody is comfortable at thier desired settings. If you beast with the opposite of his settings then that's great. All about how comfortable it is for you to perform at your best.
And here I am playing in 4k 240hz

And ?, what's the best one
The biggest advantage from playing stress can be more FPS for players with cheap hardware
Not cheap, it's those who can't afford.

What the fuck, am I seeing this right? TGLTN plays in 60 FPS??? Or that menu fps?
Lobby fps. He playa on unlimited fps ingame unless he capped fps through nvidia control panel/amd.
So if i have a 2560 x 1440 monitor, what res should i be using?
Throw away, get a smaller monitor.
@@g9893 It's true. Your monitor is way too huge for FPS gaming anyways.. well if youd want an edge.
