  • Hey everyone. I wanted to do some space videos. Had to break them up into two so you aren't hideously bored. ;) This one focuses on our solar system and planets and gives brief intro to formation of the universe. Word. I got frustrated with the kit at the end; there was not enough string for all of the planets so I gave up abruptly. My apologies. It was a super cheap kit. Maybe I'll get a better one and redo it. Hope you enjoy it nonetheless!

    I just want to say, this is literally THE first asmr video i ever watched. You seem like such a cool person, so if you ever come back, Id do a collab at a moment's notice. Regardless, thanks for the many nights of sleep, and i hope life is going great for you.

    I love your voice. Are you familiar with quantum physics? In my opinion it's the most interesting area of science, the World of probabilities it's just magical. Maybe you could make a video at least about basics.

    Sharkhunter I hope your well, all your videos are inspiring and informative. Of course great ASMR effect as well. I live here in the New Mexico desert and went out the other night with my new telescope and thought of you. Its truly amazing even without the telescope , the night skies are quite spectacular. All the best to you ,you have a great vibe

    cool video. I was afraid there wouldn't be any lecture related asmr stuff. When i was in the hospital the other day visiting a family member the doctor came in and started giving this big informative speech about what was going on and before I knew it I was melting into my chair in relaxation while listening to him talk - I could have sat there forever. I knew I had to check youtube right away haha. THANKS

    Great video. I have a hard time wrapping my head around how we observe the universe. If something is 1 million light years away, by the time the light gets to earth, does that mean we are viewing the way the universe looked a million years ago? It makes my brain hurt.

  • @vikings426

    Do u believe humanity is the product of evolution or God? I've always thought of God as a celestial being and father of all life in the universe. If aliens existed I believe God would also have given them life as well. If dinosaurs never existed and we traveled to a planet and saw them we would consider them to be aliens.

    • @mrbibs350
      @mrbibs350 8 років тому +1

      +vikings426 Why can't humanity be the product of evolution AND God?

    • @vikings426
      @vikings426 8 років тому +1

      +mrbibs350 if there is truth to evolution then why aren't we still evolving? the only thing evolving is technology. humans are still humans and animals are still animals. God can be considered a belief system that promotes positive reinforcement but it's hard to deny the existence of Jesus Christ

    • @mrbibs350
      @mrbibs350 8 років тому +1

      vikings426 "if there is truth to evolution then why aren't we still evolving?"
      Evolution occurs at an incredibly slow rate. It took 2.3 TRILLION years to go from single celled organisms to multicellular organisms.
      Despite that, you can see evolution in action in the human species, just look at wisdom teeth. 200,000 years ago every human had them. Now most people have to have them surgically removed because our mouths are no longer large enough to support them. Some don't develop wisdom teeth at all.
      Or look at the peppered moth. Over the course of a few hundred years the species has shifted color from ash/white to black in order to blend in better with polluted trees.

      +mrbibs350 dude seriously? listen to urself, ur really reaching now. I guess 2000 years from now humans will evolve and grow wings...

    • @mrbibs350
      @mrbibs350 8 років тому +2

      vikings426 You asked about evolution, and then insult me for answering your question?
      Is that really the only response you have? If so, you weren't worth the time to respond in the first place.

    " an un known type of energy ? " What is this star wars ? Use the un known energy Luke !! " Can't I just pray to God ? " Nooooooooooooooooooo you must never say that name !! EVER. Un known energy is the newest coolest thing, everyone is saying it ! " But what about the laws of nature doesn't that require some type of intelligence ? " No this un known energy did that too, and then finely set those laws because, you know, un known energy. " But that does not make any sense ? " Exactly so stop your doubting and believe !

    • @JoshuaHults
      @JoshuaHults 9 років тому +1

      ***** where the laws come from that govern the universe that allow us to do science in the 1st place ? Unknown energy makes 0 sense and there is 0 proof of it.
      There is plenty of evidence for an intelligence if you would just open your eyes and stop being dogmatically resistant.
      Antony Flew life long atheist found God from biology.

    • @thesharkhunter007
      @thesharkhunter007  9 років тому +4

      Joshua Hults There is proof of energy and black holes that behave in ways we don't understand yet, hence "unknown." It doesn't mean that they are not there. There is proof of dark matter and dark energy and we've even begun measuring it, we just aren't 100% sure what it is. Whether you believe in god or not, you can't deny the evidence my friend. No need to get so feisty.

    • @mrbibs350
      @mrbibs350 8 років тому +1

      +Joshua Hults A century and a half ago scientists would have called electrons an unknown form of energy.
      If you had lived then would you have dismissed electricity, just because it wasn't fully understood?

    • @JoshuaHults
      @JoshuaHults 8 років тому +1

      mrbibs350 Electricity can be observed, we all knew about it, we just did not have a theory for it at one time. Anyone can show me a spark of electricity, heck lightning.

    • @mrbibs350
      @mrbibs350 8 років тому +2

      Joshua Hults But goodness me, if we didn't have a theory for it how did we discovery the properties of electromagnetism? I mean, anything we can't immediately we have to attribute to God, right?
      MAYBE some scientists decided that rather than attributing lightning to God they should try to explain it through inquiry.

    So, I take it you are not a creationist. This gets interesting .. So do you think time is a dimension? Second part . Since time is a measurement of distance - then time is mass accelerated would be correct. For if time was stagnant, then it would not serve the purpose of distance. Just wondering your take on TIME..
