Nothing better than seeing a lady getting her hands dirty and helping out well done Katie ..married to my wife 32 years she’s still helps me with everything..
Looks good. You guys are doing a great job. THE appointment of duties is a work of good relationship between the two of you. Love your program, watch it faithfully
Katie and Greg, the siding sure looks great even though you used a sketchy ladder/plank system. I am sure this was an OSHA approved project... ha ha. Blessings to you two great people.
The siding looks great with all the trim work. Don’t get discouraged, you are making great progress. I have watching you from grading and putting in the foundation and have enjoyed your journey. Amazing
Katie I love to here them babies. They talking to y'all. I love y'all. Happy go lucky people. Greg get me so scared but I sit here after and lol at him. As always be safe and God bless you ❤️
I have never seen such a symbiotic relationship between 2 wonderful human beings and such a diverse collection of sweet animals! I love watching you guys progress.
Maybe for your next lot a scaffolding, put another sketchy plank on top of the other sketchy plank, 2 sketchy planks make it less sketchy. Maybe even clamp or screw them together.
What a risk taker you are Greg on that sketchy scaffolding! Katie was very impressive demonstrating her sheet metal cutting skills. I love the look of the siding and look forward to seeing the house fully sided.
I start holding my breath when Greg steps onto the "scaffolding" but then I realize nothing bad is going to happen or you wouldn't be showing us. 😁 So enjoy your videos! ❤
I freaking love your channel, just the right amount of risk and danger combined with pro quality videos, superb music choices and the occasional explainer or totally real dialogue. Thank you for letting us in ❤
I love all your animals. I had loads of them when I was young (including a goat, a sheep that would not stay with the other sheep because she had been hand raised and thought she was a human) and I really enjoyed their different personalities. I love how your house is looking, and Katie, I am envious of your skills on the tools!
Hope that you feel better, the siding looks great. Sometimes you have to muddle through these days when you're not feeling the best, kudos for doing just that.
And another hint for your planner....Check the rollers and the blades for any pitch buildup from the lumber you are planning. Just clean everything with some denatured alcohol.
I loved Katie's comment "You're 37, not 26". Wives have a tendency to remind us of our age when we start to do something that could entail a trip to the emergency room! Katie has turned into quite a "ground gal", cutting siding, wood and metal and keep Greg supplied with material to keep the job going.
The siding looks so good well done with persevering as it can get to being a pain when it feels like you have been doing it for so long. Your goat was so funny was he telling you whether he liked the siding or not as he had a lot to say lol
The old WVA fella wants to tell you guys. You're doing a great job. Love your channel. You two are an inspiration in so many ways. And Katie you have a very beautiful smile. Keep up the great work ❤
I am hoping you are remembering the drip edge for the tops of the window trim. If not water can migrate in behind the trim. I would add clear silicone to the drip edge. Those bracer spacers are a Godsend for being standard and accurate. You can also substitute a section of tar paper to hide the seam if you run out of material. This is a good bit of progress and I am sure very satisfying. One day at a time, one task at a time and you will make progress...
Everything is looking fantastic…it’s all coming together. Yes Greg, you gotta take advantage of mild winters when you get them because next year, you’ll probably get slammed with snow.
23:15 As we say at home: “Christmas on the balcony, Easter with the firebrands.” Happy New Year to you. I wish you lots of good things for your projects
The siding looks awesome it blends right in to the landscape, loved when the goats came over to to supervise you two and give their opinion, Man they are cute. as are the rest of your critters. Great team work folk's the exterior is coming together nicely regardless of the sketchy scaffold set up. Watching from Ontario, Canada.
I absolutely find it hilarious when Greg "Gargles" back at the goats. Wonder what he is really saying to them in their minds? But you guys are doing a bang up job on that beautiful siding. One step at a time and before you know it it will be finished. Great job guys!!! Keeps me coming back! Me southern AZ.
No not bored with siding, its a relief to finally see your beautiful home with a professional looking exterior. I like the music or Listening to Greg converse with billy...makes me laugh... be-eh eheheh be-eh eheheh blah blah blah eheheh😅😅😅😂
That was significant progress and a testimony to your problem-solving skills and sheer determination. SO impressed with your work on this. Happy New Year!
Finally starting to look like a real nice house! As Confucius said "A thousand mile journey begins with the first step." And don't forget, it's not about the destination, it's about the journey......ENJOY, and Happy New Year.
When I watch you do this off the ladder stuff, when your creativity comes takes over, I almost can't watch after the 40+ years of safety training I had while plumbing and having fallen off a ladder only off the 3rd step and having landed on a 2x4 on my side and cracked a couple of ribs, but luckily missing an acetylene b-tank by a foot. The siding looks real good and your tremendous work ethic is fantastic and though I don't know you, I worry.
Looking great guys. Nice that you are not having to work out in the snow. You guys are a great team. Love that you guys work together so well. I know that it is challenging at times ...
Good job! Why does my planer leave burn marks? Sounds like dirty feed rollers, Sawdust buildup on the rollers-caused by resinous woods or inadequate dust collection-saps the rollers' gripping power. Black streaks appear where the rollers rub against the immobile wood, and burn marks appear where the knives continue to spin.
Katie would be an excellent helper in roofing sheet metal, carpentry and probably most construction. I’ve had a lot of helpers that weren’t as good. Watching from Panama City Florida,USA. 🇺🇸🦅 No Snow Just Breeze !
It’s amazing how Katie as the senior contractor always gets the trades assistant to do the unskilled dangerous work whilst she is in a supervisory capacity. As the video is drawing to an end, it’s New Year’s Eve as you say. I imagine you are having dozens of people around for a New Year’s Eve party at which you will be able to celebrate all the great achievements that you have made and laugh about the bloopers and other things that did not quite work out as you had hoped. I’m sending this message from Western Australia where the temperature today is likely to be about 37 so I’m off to the beach as that 37 is of course in Celsius so it’s shorts T-shirt and bathers to be worn today. My best wishes to you both for a great 2024 and keep producing the very interesting and enjoyable videos that I watch quite early in my Western Australia morning whilst I’m having my first couple of cups of coffee Looking forward to seeing you tomorrow.
good morning how are you guys doing today hope everything is fine out there hope you guys have a brand new happy New Years and all that good stuff all right guys have a good day and be safe out there see how did the animals
You two are amazing, I've spent the last couple of months, binge watching all your previous videos, you have done so well. The house is looking fantastic ❤. We'll done to both of you. Can't wait for the next video 🙌🏼🥰🥰🥰 xx

Vcs estão fazendo um ótimo trabalho, que neste ano novo vcs continuem progredindo, alcançando todos os seus objetivos, tudo com muita saúde. Deus os abençoe!
Productive cold day Greg,& Katie!! Starting the New Year off right. Glad y’all are feeling better, but please be safe. The siding looks great! 👍🏾💯💜✝️🙏🏾🇺🇸 😀
Greg u r so gutsy on anything, but its better then renting,i use ladders all the time, cause its just me,and having Katie there really makes the work go easier. Yall both do a great job together. Do get better healthwise, enjoyed the speaking of the goats, animals and show!
With regards to the timber getting stuck in your planer, if you rub some wax on the metal plate, it will help with the timber coming through. You may need to repeat this process again depending on its use. It works a treat for me and I admit it was not my idea in the first place as I did see another You Tuber suggest this as he was having issues with his and tried the wax and that worked a treat for him, so I had to give it ago myself.
It is very nice to see the progress you two are making on your home build and what is really fortunate for you is the weather is being kind to you both. wishing you a healthy and successful New Year from the UK.
Hey guys I am loving the more and more bante and chatting ye are doing, that is what I like in vlogs, I do not too much music and quiet. Well done on the siding so far it is looking amazing. I must say I did have my doubts about a year ago but this year I am starting to see the vision......plus your talents (both of ye really come on).
Gregg I don’t think we have to tell you how lucky you are to have a wonderful woman who helps out with everything helping .
Grey days, I can relate! Put your head down and just get it done. Job well done! Every day gets you one day nicely closer!
Nothing better than seeing a lady getting her hands dirty and helping out well done Katie ..married to my wife 32 years she’s still helps me with everything..
Looks good. You guys are doing a
great job. THE appointment of duties is a work of good relationship between the two of you. Love your program, watch it faithfully
Katie and Greg, the siding sure looks great even though you used a sketchy ladder/plank system. I am sure this was an OSHA approved project... ha ha. Blessings to you two great people.
Sometime this spring you two are going to stop look up at your house and say, my gosh we did it and it looks good!
Boys will be boys. Love Greg enjoying his playground!
The siding looks great with all the trim work. Don’t get discouraged, you are making great progress. I have watching you from grading and putting in the foundation and have enjoyed your journey. Amazing
'Necessity is the Mother of Invention'. Good work on the home-made scaffolding. Siding (or weatherboards as we say in Australia) is looking good. 😀
I love the noises you make when y'all talk back to the goats, so cute
Katie I love to here them babies. They talking to y'all. I love y'all. Happy go lucky people. Greg get me so scared but I sit here after and lol at him. As always be safe and God bless you ❤️
I have never seen such a symbiotic relationship between 2 wonderful human beings and such a diverse collection of sweet animals! I love watching you guys progress.
You should really be proud of your homestead!❤❤❤
Maybe for your next lot a scaffolding, put another sketchy plank on top of the other sketchy plank, 2 sketchy planks make it less sketchy. Maybe even clamp or screw them together.
Katie your smile is what I needed today. Funerals today and tomorrow. You got a lot done. Nice job you two.
Hello Katie and Greg. I like the music you use, but I also like hearing the goats tell you what they want. Great vent cuts Greg. Have good days!
Hell yeah, enjoy your time, enjoy your life! Y'all work hard! Punch the clock on the days you hsve to,it's well deserved!!
Ohh, the house is looking awesome! Ya'll are doing a great job, if even with an overextended scaffold system...lol 😂😅 Looking good! Love ya'll ❤️
Your house is going to look so beautiful when it is done.
Thanks Larry!
Looking great can't wait to see the upper part.
I freaking love your channel, just the right amount of risk and danger combined with pro quality videos, superb music choices and the occasional explainer or totally real dialogue. Thank you for letting us in ❤
That scaffolding was so sketchy. You are a brave man Greg.
its looking good guys. you know what they say, teamwork makes the dream work.
I was watching, thinking, people will be yelling at you, no! don’t walk on that plank! It looks great, well done both of you.
Your place is looking amazing. I love the color's. Awesome job guys
I love all your animals. I had loads of them when I was young (including a goat, a sheep that would not stay with the other sheep because she had been hand raised and thought she was a human) and I really enjoyed their different personalities. You are making progress the siding is looking great.

You Two are doing a great job and the 'siding days' are here! 💚With Winter weather as an extra challenge, It is amazing what you have accomplished!👌💯💚
The siding looks so good well done with persevering as it can get to being a pain when it feels like you have been doing it for so long. Your goat was so funny was he telling you whether he liked the siding or not as he had a lot to say lol
You guys are rocking it. Never quit, never surrender - Looks awesome!
