Nah pvp will be fun for once. Especially mayhem when everyone’s abilities are boosted. Gambit will actually be fun now too. Our guardians are going to truly feel like gods now. Like now I believe that we are god slayers
I agree, I stopped playing pvp because it just wasnt fun anymore after they made it more competitive. Back when it was fun I would play almost every night just to relax. I feel like it will be back to that.
So many people dreading Prismatic in pvp. Guaranteed it will be in pvp my brotha. No way it won't be. It's a whole ass subclass. I'm sure Bungie will make some semblance of balance out of it, like extremely long cooldowns, potentially having the abilities not passively charge like all other classes, certain behaviors of certain abilities change only in pvp. An example would be it's harder to get frozen by a prismatic stasis ability than a normal stasis ability, damage being reduced on certain abilities when paired with others. There's a wealth of ways to balance it, but I think it'll still be broken, somewhat intentionally. Gotta have a way to get those pre-orders up.
Most of the weapons shown in the showcase were actually shown during last years vidoc. The only new ones are the machine gun and a special ammo sidearm.
Would it really be that bad in PvP? Hunters are crackheads, Warlocks are cheese, and Titans are gorillas. There's no current variance with these playstyles from the mumble heads who play PvP. Have you heard of a caster Titan? A stealth Warlock? A tank Hunter? At least this would be SOMETHING to shake up peoples subclass loadouts, EVEN if only while people are figuring the new combos out until Metas emerge.
Feel like that ruins it tho if everyone has the best guns cause it’s that easy to get then is it the best gun anymore? When the best shit is rare it’s more rewarding when you earn it. As someone who only gets to play for like 2 hours a day if that I’d rather grind for the best shit then have it handed to me cause I’m on a time crunch.
@ciscy1786 I'm ment the rolls It'd a pain and most of us went from high schools in day 1 Destiny to adults in late twenties early 30's with almost no free time to grind 24hrs for three rolls on a weapon or two. The crafting system isn't even that good either.
Zavala dialogue throughout FS will be Keith David. Like the comment above stated, his last lines were deep. And his last official dialgue was a radio message during deep.
Whether or not Destiny as a franchise can be saved really depends on what they do the first year after The Final Shape has been released. I personally think that Destiny 2 itself can't be saved anymore. They made to many wrong choices along the way. Now there are some rumors that Destiny 3 under the codename payback is in the works at Bungie. And to be honest I feel like this is the way forward for the franchise. Destiny 2 as a continuously updated live service game simply doesn't work. Just like Destiny 1 it works best when it has a clear beginning and end.
The slam hammers that converts into invis may just bring me back to my Titan.
10:50 That's a WARLOCK with hunter and titan rolled exotic in 1.
Final battle better be massive

It will be in PvP, the fear is how unbalanced it is going to be

They are trying to hide new weapons for some reason 🤔
Destiny 2: Final Powercreep. I’m still excited I’m one of the few who is all for powercreep and increased difficulty to match it.
Agreed!
They’re 100000% allowing this anywhere outside the pale heart lmao. No sublclass before has been restricted to a destination.
I’m going for severance enclosure and wormgods or severance enclosure and necrotic grips and use strand melee to get 3 with consecration ground melee.

I just imagine a titan coming out of nowhere from being invisible and jumpscaring the fuck out you.😂
PvP should be very interesting. Its not like PvP is balanced even currently 😂😂 This is insane!
It's definitely going to be interesting!
Now let's hope they make grinding for weapons and shit easier tbh [it's mind numbing to farm for hours just to not get what you needed]

Tbh i could care less about pvp. I enjoy pve, pvp just isnt my thing. However i can def understand needing to limit prismatic for pvp.

"when I tell you what's happening next in Destiny 2"
"What's happening next in Destiny? Marathon?"
Yeah... 🤦🏻♂️
honestly who cares about PVP, just remove it from the game. if you want PVP play marathon when it comes out.
day 1
Doubt it.
