- In this video, I will compare the DJI Osmo Pocket 3 and Canon PowerShot V10 by playing side-by-side clips of the two cameras. I will be looking at the following factors:
* Image quality: We will compare the sharpness, noise, and color of the images produced by the two cameras.
* Stabilization: We will compare how well the two cameras stabilize footage when shooting handheld.
Image Quality
Both DJi Osmo Pocket 3 and Canon PowerShot have 1-inch sensor. In my opinion, the DJI Osmo Pocket 3 produces slightly sharper images than the Canon PowerShot V10. The Osmo Pocket 3 also produces less noise in low light conditions. However, the Canon PowerShot V10 has a wider field of view, which can be useful for some shots.
Stabilization
The DJI Osmo Pocket 3 has a three-axis gimbal, which provides excellent stabilization. The Canon PowerShot V10 has a five-axis electronic image stabilization system, which is not as good as the Osmo Pocket 3's gimbal. However, the V10's digital stabilization is still good enough for most shots.
Ease of Use (not in the video)
The DJI Osmo Pocket 3 is very easy to use. It has a simple touchscreen interface and a built-in joystick for controlling the camera. The Canon PowerShot V10 is also easy to use, but it does not have as many features as the Osmo Pocket 3.
Overall
The DJI Osmo Pocket 3 is the better camera overall, in my opinion. It produces better image quality, has better stabilization, and is easier to use. However, the Canon PowerShot V10 is a good option for those who are on a budget or who need a wider field of view. - Наука та технологія
I love this. Most reviewers just talk too much about specs. U've done it great
Thank you very much for this comment. Appreciate you taking the time to watch!
Im speechless between the comparison of these 2 cameras.
Thank you for tuning in. I’m happy to share this comparison. I find it interesting myself, good and bad.
Hello sir Can you tell me that what is the battry backup on 4k 30 fps please tell me
Hi thanks for your comment. These are just my estimates: Pocket 3 = under 1.5 hours. V10 = 1 hour.
The only thing I’m seeing about the ship is pulling it out of your pocket it can take a couple extra steps is that true?
Hi thanks for your comment. If you mean the ease of use of each camera when pulling out of my pocket, they both are quick to record and adjust.
However, I'm not sure what you mean by 'ship'. Were you referring to something specific in the video?
Hey! Thinking about getting one of these. How long did the battery life last on each camera?
Thank you for your comment. For the V10, about 290 still shots or up to 55 minutes of 4K recording. For Pocket 3, 116 minutes of 4K/60.
@@TossSong no problem! And thank you for the response! Great video!
DJI Osmo the clear winner … sharper and more depth
Thank you. Appreciate you taking the time to watch!
TY. Saved me some money.
Thank you for your comment.
can u take stills/photos with the osmo
Hi, thanks for reaching out. Yes, the DJI Osmo Pocket 3 can take still photos. It has a 9.4 MP resolution, 20 mm f/2.0 lens, and 1-inch CMOS sensor. It’s doesn’t have high megapixels, but the 1-in sensor does great.
So this is when V10 in IS enhanced such a wobbling...why I don't see this in other reviews when it is quite stable (not like pocket 3 obviously) but usable, what you shown here is unusable at all.
Thank you for your comment. Yes, the software in the V10 IS (even in Enhanced), the “over correction” and “cropping down” still cause the rolling-like distortion. With a mechanical gimbal, it’s definitely more desirable.
The canon V10 has 3 levels of stabilization 🤷🏽♂️
Thanks for your comment. I’ve tried “Digial IS: On” & when walking or light jogging (in the video), “Digital IS: Enchanced”. I didn’t make any negative comments on either one. I use both in different situations. I love them both.
canon failed so hard
Thanks for your comment. I only now use my V10 when I’m not moving. :)
