When using glow in the dark paint it's always good to put a layer of acrylic below it that is the color that you want. That way you get the glow in the dark effect but it also doesn't look streaky

In relation to your pencil sketching making the wallpaper look muddy - when I worked on event planning in college and had to make decorations, we would use projectors to project our digital sketches onto things that didn't like pencil sketches. Maybe if you have a chance to get a small cheap projector in the future, it might make projects like this easier!

One of the things that I find so inspiring about Minori is that she does art whether it comes out perfect or not. I get so stressed out about my art, and if I make a mistake, I will just throw it out, because I am too afraid of showing anyone, because all I see is the mistake.
