Or just buy Tamiya gears.
23T is the smallest you can use safely. 21T might work if your motor can is not bulky.

My door needs WD40.
Owned one, ditched the upper and lower of the front and rear arms to tamiya hop-ups (plastics, adjustable), changed the steering to aluminium (hop ups), changed the front and rear axles to aluminium (hop ups), changed the steering links (hop ups) and restore the P7 to delrin parts (plastics)...
thank you for sharing.. very cool video
Shimano brake mineral oil works a treat on rc dampers too.
Thanks for the tip!
Those orange stock springs are the length you would find on a off-road buggy. So the shocks won't be compressing too much with them on.
As it turned out getting the Tamiya springs was a good idea?
@@BeaversHobby Yes it was.
@@alphawlff Thanks.
Great project! What’s the highest pinion I can run on this chassis with the stock motor mount? It’s a 0.6M pitch right? I want to put a 31t 0.6M pinion but I don’t know if it will fit.
Yes, it's 0.6M pitch. I don't have the measurement for 31T pinion but I think it'll fit. The 23T that I have on this car is pushing it in all the way so it can fit way bigger than that. Or get some different gears to try out is probably the safest. The biggest pinion I can find on the chart for TT-01 is 28T.
LRP S10 has been a good solid platform for club racing for years so I think that will be a good entry level chassis too.
what radio gear can i use with drift car
I recommend to start with a decent one like Radiolink RC4GS V3 (a review of V2 ua-cam.com/video/VfcWCJisCzY/v-deo.html) or Flysky G7P www.banggood.com/custlink/GvG5Ln6aVN (review ua-cam.com/video/zg6Kbgc4eow/v-deo.html ).
These can set a knob to a channel so you can control gyro with them.
For higher budget there is now Radiomaster MT12 which will come out soon. Hardware wise, it should be good per Radiomaster standard. Software will be a very steep learning curve because it uses EdgeTX. If you are coming from drone or plane you will feel at home. If you are new to this I recommend stay away at all cost.
An easy to use transmitter with amazing performance is Flysky Noble NB4. Review here ua-cam.com/video/T86VXmVCovU/v-deo.html .
It's on discount now as well. Here's the link www.banggood.com/custlink/D3mHlA6LV0
