- Based on the instructions in this video by the legendary Arvind Gupta: • LEVITATING CD - ENGLISH , this is my version of the toy. I used somewhat stronger, self-adhesive magnets (and fewer of them, because I forgot I needed enough for two CDs when I ordered them!) and didn't bother with the bottle-top. I had a shorter spindled CD box, which serves beautifully for storing it when I'm not making rainbows.
