You can actually get better tek saddles blueprints and pre crafted ones from gen2 missions, on official around 160 amror is max on blueprint
Yeah me and my brother did Velonasaur stalk on alpha and got a 148 armor mosa Tek saddle BP (official PvE)
I got a 68 armor drake and 84 aor astrocetus on legacy PvE
On level 6 or whatever the sitting is for loot quality, you can get a 357.4, so close to that, tek saddle from gen part 2. I farm the alpha velonasaur hunt mission.
Yeah I got a 112 tapejara saddle
But can you bring them over to other servers. No
I really wish they did a varient of the Tuso
X-Tuso or R-Tuso (even though the Gen2 ocean is a joke)

Too small in my opinion, it's cool and nice looking and I do enjoy that inside lab area but I was hoping for a bigger involvement for the ocean.
Syn, u should use tek jump pads to make the way up the tube from the underwater base easier and faster

The dedication to cleanly stack thirty mutations even with better breeding rates and maturation is what always impresses me most. I usually tap out around 5 because I’m impatient.
and he is playing with custom rates and mods, go do that on officials and you'll give up after a couple months.

From personal experience, a mosa army can be good for the alpha brutes if you are riding on a decent megalodon that can bleed them. The only pain is that when they are following you, you will lose several because of their turn radius when following you.

I have to say, I kinda agree with syntac, the mosa should be able to jump out of the water and drag flyers/land creatures under water, and kill them, but wouldn't that be to similar to the Tuso? Who cares?! it adds something extra to the mosa and makes it more scary, and better to use in PvP, or just for fun

One question syntac, how many hours took you to mutate the mosa? (or any other creatures you mutate in general?)I am curious.
Most of the time is waiting for them to grow up tbh lol Doesn't take much time to get the next mutation I need in the stack because I always have lots of females

Hey syntac, I know you might not see this but thank you for making content. I just moved from Germany to Florida and I haven't made friends in years, so its hard to go through but your videos really help me feel better. Also they help me in another way, i can't play ark right now so your videos are a massive help thank you.
As much as I love the new type of videos I hope you will still occasionally post half an hour adventure where you have a little bit of a plan but mostly just go there the day takes you. Those are definitely some of the best videos on your channel. They normally have so much action and a adventure vibe to them.
I enjoy the jump to end product with the mutations...also videos like this are really great. Sometimes ur adhd takes hold and u get off topic but ones like this are gold
BREED DODOS FOR CHOCOLATES> theyre small, compact and you can breed 100 of them or more in a 4x5 area, every breeding session would always yield me at least 1 box of chocolates!

The Kraken's Better Dino Tek Mosa was always one of my favorite underwater creatures even if the tek saddle looks ridiculous on them. With turrets enabled on platforms, the Mosa is a terrifying effective creature for Gen 2 missions. But with vanilla settings, the pack bleed of Megalodons will be faster for hunt missions on Genesis: Part 1 for sure.
I absolutely adore the colors you got on these mosas Syn, probably my favorite if I'm being honest.

Cool video dude, I don't normally leave comments on videos but I think you deserve it :) I've watching for roughly 2 years I think, maybe more and I've enjoyed most of your content. You're funny and you know your stuff when it comes to Ark. You inspired me to get the game for myself and while it's fun I haven't been able to make myself play as much as you can since I don't enjoy playing it so much as I like watching it.
Honestly I couldn't picture myself trying to breed mosas. Props to you for that 👏

For getting mutagen, best way is to do the tek parasail mission that boosts resource regen. Even on slightly boosted servers, the mutagel respawns almost instantly right under the heart. Just take a harvesting stryder down there and zap up mutagel by the thousands. Just watch out for the tentacles as if you're too close, they'll do the slam attack and knock your stryder into the acid.
Breeding Operation is one kind of a word hahahahahaha had me laughin for good!
I'd love to see what HP a Tuso could have, they have lower base hp, but more hp per point, so they end up with higher than mosa

Happy to hear that Ultimate ARK is still going. For Alfa Controller Boss you need OP Therizinosaurs army, and OP1 Yutyrannus, not to mention multiple parts of OP armor, and weapons, but it is possible to beat this boss.I did saw a video of a person beating this boss on Alfa difficulty SOLO.

I've even tamed a mosa. In PvP I never progress that far before I get bored of it, and in single player the basilo is all you need for underwater caving.
Just finished catching up on this series, would love to see those giga mutations sometime soon if u have that kinda of time. Really enjoy the videos.

this is a lot more than what probably my first tame is moschops and as soon as I can I breed them they are fun and actually for me I was very surprised at how powerful they can get of course I could never get them to attack a target they are rather cowardly but I have played around with the harvest setting a tiny bit

Might be worth trying to install a series of tek jump pads in the shaft to help you get up it instead of relying on the tek suit. Could be line a ping ball machine
You mentioned before that you wanted to try use your mutated armies and such in pvp or something. I could totally see people wanting to do sort of like events where people have a certain amount of time to tame stuff and then get pitted against random tames of yours. Would give people a challenge and let you see the damage you could do to someone's rex army just using a bunch of dimorphs
You should do a massive park with all dinos with mutations, you could have many breeding videos of the ones you dont have yet and make some realy crazy dinos

@syntac - first off I love your videos; I am super jealous of your mods….(console player). But, you know that you can jump off the snow owl right before it freezes to allow you to do other things while healing. It also helps with the checking how much healing you need.
You need to jump off as the wings start to come around. Also, owls stack with deaodons
You can get better tek saddles from gen 2 missions as well. Got a tek tapejar saddle bp. It needs to be the alpha missions.

Crystal isles has the nastiest ocean in the upper right. Literally get 6 to 10 mosa and tuso within render everytime I go anywhere up there. Also insane alpha spawn rate.
