Honestly, I felt sorry for them parting, though Coras reasons were understandable: she wanted power and social life in high society, so everyone sees her power and, once despising her, knees before her. Isolation was no option for her. Also, I guess, deep down she didn't trust Rumple enough to be sure that he once won't use and trick her as he does other, especially with his almost unlimited powers. And he could with a 50/50 chance, actually, as Bealfire was his N1 priority. All that is understandable, though feel sorry for them. Cora can understand Rumple much better than Belle as she had similar experiences in her life. She was much more mature even in her younger age. And she shares the same passion for magic as Rumple does, so they'd have plenty to discuss and to together (take over the world e.g. :D). She would't accuse or blame Rumple for everything as Belle does, and, I guess, Cora could have actually listened to Rumples troubles and problems and, with her sharp mind, help him find a solution. To bad she didn't stayed with him for that 😢

No it isn't true love. That's because Cora cannot love anyone whole-heartedly. She doesn't have that in her, she is even more power hungry than Rumple is. But she likes Rumple as much as she can, being Cora. It's not true love but it's definitely something, I see sparks and chemistry and potential :(
What I loved between them was the acceptance of each others darkness. That was really strong between them. But I think they were more searching for comfort and company then they were loving each other.
you can tell that their relationship wasn't true love cuz when belle kissed him he started changing into a regular man and when cora kissed him nothing happened
