Ooooooh, this seems like a nice option. Have I not already made plans on making my own DIY pedal board with some wood I already have on hand, this would be an option for me.

Yeah definitely a great option for a mini pedalboard with a solid case. Best of luck to you with your DIY board!

This is interesting - It looks like a good small pedalboard, despite the low quality features (power supply strap, velcro, etc). It doesn't look too small though, there is plenty of space if you were to plan more carefully, both in pedal choice and positioning. As you mentioned, pedals with top jacks would make your life much easier in terms of fitting the pedals next to one another, but so would having the smaller versions of some of them. You mentioned the smalls version of the P&P, and there are tonnes of small 1590 A sized compressors and tuners (the Sonic Research tuner and Compiq compressor come to mind) that would fit much nicer, and would give you some more space as they could be fitted sideways, on top.
It looks like the board has a nice amount of space under it as well. If you could fit something like a DSM & Humboldt Simplifier Bass Station under it, you could have your board be comprised exclusively of effects you turn on and off (think mod, envelope, octave, etc) and have the "always on" types hidden away. I'm not sure though, that's the impression I got.
Great video though! I'm loving to see bassists working on micro sized bass boards.

Good choice of pedals. I've not heard that Way Huge before, sounds great.

Thanks! I used the Way Huge Green Rhino as my main dirt pedal for years, so I knew I had to get the Pork & Pickle when they released it.

Literally just bought this exact board to make a small bass setup with a VT Bass DI. It’s like you were in my head. Nice video. I need to find a good small format OD but can’t decide.

That's awesome! The Joyo Double Thruster is a clone of the Darkglass B3K. If you do need a small pedal they do make the Pork & Pickle in a smaller version which takes a lot less real pedalboard real estate than the one showed in my video. Hope this helps!

Can also velcro the power supply before strapping as well.

what fuzz do u like better pickle vs mxr fuzz ? you always explain board stuff super well, u left apple , hiiiii doggggggoh ,wtf is that thing u using to hold ur picks I NEEEEED IT

Definitely the pork &pickle/Russian pickle. Nothing wrong with the MXR, I just prefer more a bit style muff. The mxr is a little too dark & smooth for my taste.
That pickholder is built into this pedalboard! Another alternative is to get a Dunlop pick holder and put it on the back of your bass headstock

So is it ok if you put your tuner after you compressor? Can you actually put the tuner anywhere your signal chain?

Some pedals like drives and and modulation pedals can throw off a tuner. Right not, my tuner is after my compressor (EHX Bass Soul Food) and it works fine.
