- After our maiden voyage Barko Vlog of Seacat Oasis to Ormoc we will take a regular ROPAX back to Cebu City. Welcome onboard M/V Theresian Stars of Roble Shipping Lines! She is a 50 year old RORO Passenger ship and the former Cagayan Princess of now defunct Sulpicio Lines Inc.
I am amazed on the amenities onboard which is not typical to some VIS-MIN ships. She was well maintained and is a reliable ship of the company despite her age.
To more years of sailing M/V Theresian Stars! Thanks to Roble Shipping for maintaining her well.

Secret why roros can operate far longer than a comparable cruise liner is because roros have an open deck, which usually is the vehicle cargo deck just above the engine rooms. Hence there is unobstructed acces to the engine mounts in case they change the engines thus ensuring longevity of use.
When she was still at Sulpicio her acommodatio was just so simple , at ang liit nya lang talaga pag iniimagine mo sya, ito ay minsan pumalit sa napakalaking sister nya dati sa sulpicio na m/v Nasipit Princess sa rotang Nasipit-jagna Bohol
But now sa ganda nga amminities aakalain mong ang laki ng barkong iton lalong gumanda, ito lang naman ang lumalayag sa napaka laking alon in between Nasipit and Jagna Bohol dati.

Grabeh toh sir. Hinanap ko pa kung buhay pa ni na barko Cagayan Princess. Mao ni amo ginasakyan sa akoa family from CDO to Jagna (vice versa). When my late father was assigned sa Bohol 1995.. Mao gyud ni every week ginasakyan nya til 2002. Moabot kadlawon sa CDO tapos larga na pod dayon pagkagabie sa sabado to Jagna. Every summer pa bohol with relatives. Di gyud ni nako malimtan na barkoha. Sir aha na toh ang Our Lady of the Rule og Our Lady of Good Voyage ron?

Sa Cagayan Princess from CDO to Cebu in the 90's and early 2000's if I recall mejo mag sayaw2x gyud f unahan nas Camiguin and duol Siquijor ang Barko hehehe

Surprisingly interesting video! I’m an experienced Philippines traveler but haven’t yet taken a long ferry trip, so I checked this connection Ormoc/Cebu .. and I’ll compare the Fast Cat.. maybe taking the slow boat and cabin and sleep!

Even when both vessels were still under SLI in the 80s, these two were docked next to each other when berthed near Aduana, the very same area where some of Cokaliong’s vessels are now berthed.
