Great video! Makes me realize how much I need to work on my footwork!! Thank you!
Appreciate it 💪🏽get to work
Man!
That's great idea to answering questions both of you!! So useful! Well done!!
Love your videos bro, grew up playing tennis (no where near as good as you!) and you’ve made me want to get back into it!
This kid look like young Federer!
That's what I was gonna say!
More like dimitrov
Kuerten
@@slymon8369 yeah I see some Guga there. Also, when you look at the eyes and shape of his face, looks like young Grigor, the lip and the chin is more like federer. So it's like 3 tennis player in one face.
Yeah. he really does.
Love the Q & A at the end of your video. Hoping to see full set/match play sessions at some point.
Appreciate that man. And yeah definitely coming soon
UA-cam thinks the sound of your footwork is music. That’s some kind of compliment!
I guess hahaha
Also, the best way to prepare for college tennis your senior year of high school (in America) is to play the ITA summer circuits. Usually a lot of college players and upper level juniors compete in those tournaments and they’re all over the country throughout the entire summer.
You bro am currently ranked #1 in syria but soon am going to france and going to practice there
So hope to see you there
Can you make a video on split-step drills, and ways to make the split-step more natural?
Yes
Could you do a video on where you focus your strength training (core, legs etc)? You look very lean so you are fast but you can still hit the ball hard, good build for modern tennis!
Beautiful backhand anyway whats your grip? Im from philippines and also a tennis player
watching your footwork is so satisfying... hit, left, right, split step, hit.
CoalYT 💪🏽💪🏽
I love how you guys embrace the grind 🙌🏻🙌🏻
Really awesome! just discovered this channel! :)
Great practice bro! 🔥🔥
How do u start comp play ?
How many hours a week do u train??
I have a question about your mechanics. You have a straight arm forehand, but your forehand isn't as biomechanically efficient as most straight arm FH pro players (Dimitrov, Dzhumar, Cilic, Nadal, Verdasco, Fed) because they tend to drive a bent elbow into the straight arm where you straighten your arm much earlier. My son used to do this but has since changed and has a bend on the unit turn then, straightens into contact. I do see a benefit of a premature straighten, being on the same plane a bit earlier but I was curious if you or any of your coaches have ever discussed this issue and if you have tried to bend more on the unit turn.
I saw your racket face little bit facing down for both forehand and backhand before you move towards to the ball, is it to generate more top spins? Like your videos and they help my games! Looking forward more videos.
Yeah exactly bro!
You should try tourna mega tac it’s really unbelievable.
What string are you using at this time?
Clean hitting. Keep up the great work!
Stefan Brettfeld thanks man!
Come to albuquerque, nm. You would be the best player in this place.
Come to Russia and we will play an international match :D
Hahaha I would love to at some point
@The Tennis Dream
What do u think when u practise? Do u like think of the technique and what u need to improve or do u only play?
I think of my footwork and taking the ball early... etc
nice content! hope you will go further
Great hitting. What strings and tension are you using? Are you happy with this set up. You are hitting really controlled and solid.
Thanks! I did a stringing video a couple of videos back which explains everything. Make sure to check it out
The Tennis Dream ok. Thanks for taking the time to respond. Will check it out. All the best.
I watch your video before I do practice of tennis. Your stroke is very beautiful!!
Thank you! That is very inspiring to hear
Let's go son !
Nice point of impact in general
awesome vid. what camera do you bro?
Thanks man. Canon 700D 18-55mm lens
Good video lads keep up the good content 👍🏻🎾
Cheers man
Hey these vids are cool, but I think they’d be legitimately useful if you did some voiceover of the practice footage. Talking abt what you were focusing on that day or commenting on your form/the drill.
As an amateur player I am often taught to open my body up early and go back quite far with my racket. I feel like you could also open up a bit more, especially when not playing at full intensity. Your wrist action is lovely but maybe bringing your racket back further more when in your power position could gain some speed and also control for you. Just my opinion on that😅🤔
I agree, on the forehand
what String is the Green String , also What Tension and Gauge ??
Made a video about all of that in my stringing set up
Clean hitting!!! nice video!
Thanks man
🔥🔥🔥🔥
If you're ever in New Mexico, we should hit some time.
Hey! Are you currently using tourna grip? I recently switched from Wilson Pro to Tourna and I’ve noticed that the grip, in hot and humid weather, is fantastic. The only problem is that my fingers get all blistered up from intense practice. Have you ever experienced anything like this? Any solutions?
Hey! Yeah I switched recently too because my grip was getting too wet with the Wilson. I have the same problem too. The tourna does give more blisters especially because the material is less comforting than the Wilson. But I recommend buying an anti sweat powder to help your hand stay dry and away from blisters
The Tennis Dream Ah gotcha, I’ll definitely look into it then! It’s a super rough grip for sure, I guess you compromised comfort for reliability with the harsher grip. Thanks :D
Good steady hitting guys!
Thanks man
Is it still possible for you to reach the ITF or even ATP level tennis in the future?
Yes, if that was my goal and I worked very hard for it
@@thetennisdream812 is that your goal?
Greetings from Argentina!
how much tennis (matchplay + practice) do you play a week?
Taher Ahmed right now I am playing 3/4 times a week because I’m also busy doing other things. But during the season I play at least 5/6 times a week
what strings and tensions do you use?
I made a stringing video a couple of videos back where I explain everything
Come to Zimbabwe
Nice and solid stroke!
Zhao Binbin thanks!
Im about to go into my junior year of HS tennis. Ive been playing for 2 full years, but improved to a usta 4.0. Do i have a chance at college tennis, if so, how should I approach it
You definitely do! Just keep working hard. You have two more years of HS tennis so keep pushing and try to improve. If you can manage to get to 5.0 then from what I've heard you can make it to college.
The Tennis Dream what are you? 4.5 or 5.0 or higher
Joe Alanson I’m not familiar with the USTA ranking system but from what people have told me probably higher
@@thetennisdream812 Yeh bro you probs a 6.0 ez
Hi👋 i’m from the Philippines 🇵🇭 I’m also a tennis player like your tennis vlog!!!
Thanks man💪🏽
Great Video.🔥 Would be interesting to see you playing some games with serve
Coming soon 👀
@@thetennisdream812 👏👏
How often do you train a week right now?
3/4 times a week at max. I’m still quite busy with the summer internship. Once the semester gets closer I’m going to bump it up to 5/6 times a week however
Hey bro, looking solid. What I would say to improve your game is to put your weight into your shots more. On the forehand side, I noticed that you are hitting most of your shots with your weight on your right leg which is sub optimal. You need to have better footwork in order to position yourself so that you can load the right leg with your weight and then transfer it to the left leg for contact. If you watch fed, nadal, djokovic etc they always are leaning forward and putting their body weight into the ball, which is where the power comes from. Bending your knees more on both backhand and forehand is something you need to incorporate into your shots as well. Getting low and driving up on the ball is what will take you to the next level. It might be something hard to get used to at first because you'll be hitting the ball harder than normal, but once you can learn to control it you will be in a much better place. On the backhand side I'd also say to raise your left elbow more in the preparation and hold your grip a little looser and you will be able to get more pop and turn it into a weapon. Load the left leg and transfer it to the right leg when making contact. Key takeaway is put your body weight into the ball and avoid leaning back when making contact. Always forward into the ball
This comment actually makes sense cheers man. I’ll make sure to fix it
When and why did you switch to tournagrips?
I ran out of Wilson grips 🤣
Need to improve your forehand technique need to add your body rather than all arm when the game is tight and you start to get tired it will affect your performance particularly in 5 setter
Good point
What’s your forehand grip?
Semi western
Looking good, not yet world class but beyond intermediate. I'd like to see a real match :)
that argentinian player looks like no joke!!!!
He is a caped crusader
What's that green string you're using?
SV Lagonda Solinco Hyper G
@@thetennisdream812 cheers for clarifying
when we gonna see some of your matches but not two or three balls, but a little bit more ?
Soon! Just need to convince the guys to play some sets hahah
When you do, you should do a commentary voice over with your comments and analysis
The Tennis Dream like what you thought was good, where you want to improve, mistakes, good plays, etc
@@jonahkaroll9465 Good thought
what is your UTR rating?
At the moment I think somewhere in the 11’s. However, once I start competing again I’d like it to go back to 12
What’s you UTR bro
Great vlog but that hyper g sounds awfully stiff
Dafuq you look like federer. Guessing you get that alot. Btw what your racket weight including strings
Nice hit 💪
Thanks!
Are you from London?
Yes
Your forehand is all arm swing...that cant survive heavy topsin from your opponent...you dont have leg push up for extra power...
pluto15 new I do it just depends how I’m playing. If I’m playing a match then of course I’m going to be more explosive with my legs. If I’m just ralling down the middle I can get away with minimal leg bend because I practice so much
! The kid look like young Roger Federer wow i think that his brother hh
I'm jealous of your forehand lol.
What your UTR?
Chef Luca right now I think 11
You should start posting match videos or points
Gonna do it soon!
British tennis player?is this brits accent? btw, nice video!
What kind of grip do you use?
Tourna grip for now. Usually I use the Wilson however
Looks like mini rafa
Can u do some rafa inside out winners for vlog
Hey Yoan can u plssss do a video on your diet
Yes I can do one. My diet isn't anything special. But i can for sure
Good backhand, should fix the forehand tho.
What do you think I should fix on the forehand?
The Tennis Dream flex that elbow a bit more so you can have a better swing. You have good racket head speed, so with more elbow right there you will get a faster ball. 13 utr here coaching now so I think that’s a easy thing to see if you wanna get to the next level. You should be between 13.5 and 14 am I right?
I like your backhand, very interesting how did you do?
Thank you! It is mone of my best shots. What do you mean how did I do?
Baby Federer!
hi you are my inspiration to getting to collage tennis and i hope you go far in life if you can can you please my vlog i would be so grateful thankyou keep going bye
He needs a buzz
Joe Alanson word
U look like if Federer and Dimitrov had a kid.
OC_G223 🤣🤣🤣
Geee, kid looks like the knockoff younger version of Roger Federer.
You ain’t all that!
Cheers mate
@@thetennisdream812 yeah, u r... On so many levels.
Sucks that u use double handed backhand bro 😥
you look like federer lol
Haha I’ve heard that one before
Love to watch hot young sweating guys!
Are you gay? And are you Dominic Cummings?
R u Roger Federers love child?? U look like him.
IW Nunn lmao
@@thetennisdream812 u might need to have a talk with mom
Your forehand looks way to short and forced. Need a change asap
I think the more compact the swing is the better. I’m player high level players who give me quick balls and I don’t have time to swing big.
