In his content cop about leafy, IIRC he talked about how Leafy covers his chin because he's insecure and doesn't want people making fun of him for it (then makes fun of Leafy for it anyways), and yet gets insecure when someone makes fun of him or his wife to the point where he has to tell people to not make fun of him.
He criticized Tana for once saying the N word and then acting like she never said it, and now he does the exact same thing but with his entire career.
Like like you and a lot of people have said, I don't hate Idubbbz because his wife is a sex worker or because he tried to turn over a new life, but because he doesn't have a spine and acts like his past career never happened.

I know you probably won't see this, but I just want to say thank you for posting on this channel. I started watching in late 2017 and I really enjoy both your video essays and unscripted, more personal videos. It's really nice to get to hear your unfiltered opinion on topics, and it's obvious that you put lots of care and love into both of your channels. Facts bro. I'm in the same boat, loved the content back in 2017 that I thank him for being one of those down to earth creators who aren't willing to give into the current dogma and narratives going on now. Emp is a real quality creator who is what I want to see from YT, Idubbbtz makes less and less sense given how much he insults his legacy and fans.

Ian’s biggest problem is how insecure and paranoid he’s become. It’s clear he was pissed with how Sam Hyde punked him when he came to Rhode Island to do a hit piece on him. Even admitting that he’s usually “the puppet master” after the fact. It obviously hit his ego and now he’s letting it still get to him.
He treats Sam Hyde as this sort of boogeyman because of it and is super paranoid. He somehow thinks Sam Hyde is out to ruin Creator Clash when he honestly has said he supports Ian and his endeavors, even after this shitshow. Still, he’s basically mishandled this situation because of his paranoia, and it’s even affected innocent people as a result.
First there’s Froggy, and how he somehow thinks him training or doing content with Sam Hyde would ruin CC2. He was paranoid that Sam would show up because of it, despite the fact Froggy basically told him that Sam had no plans doing so. And then there was that group of morph suit people who got banned from entering the arena because they somehow thought that Sam Hyde would be hiding amongst them, even though they could’ve easily asked to have their faces uncovered before entering. Not to mention the people Ian basically made fun of and pulled into the drama with his response video.
Ian is letting petty reasoning cloud his judgement, and that’s what a lot of people are pissed about. His ego got hurt by Sam, so now he’s basically lashing out at anyone and everyone he thinks even has a slight relationship with him. It’s just sad, dude. Ian Jomha really is someone iDubbbz would make a video on.

It's so obvious that the video comes from a place of insecurity. I don't think there was a *worse* way to respond.
The worst part is that he gave up basically all his reputation in the name of Creator Clash, which is a boxing match made up of the most boring, milquetoast, irrelevant youtubers who no one has cared about since 2016. He seems to want to treat it as some serious athletic event but thing is no-one watches youtube boxing for actual skill, if they wanted to watch skilled boxing they would watch *gasp* actual boxers! Sam was banned just before the first Creator Clash when he was training EpicMealTime, and before he had been banned he was on relatively good terms and used to say only good things about Idubbz & Anisa. Sam supposedly wasted thousands of dollars in travel, hotel and ticket expenses before finding out when he tried to get in that Idubbz had banned him. That's when Sam started being more mean spirited towards them.
"Matured" means to these people that the person openly says their ideology or is not edgy anymore. The issue with Ian is that he comes off disingenuous when he makes the claim that "he changed". He should have taken notes of his good friend Joji and realized that he could have dropped the act on a good note. Emplemon honestly seems like an example of someone who's achieved what Idubbz (claims to have) wanted to.
