The beginning still feels weirdly paced. Even without slowmo it feels a bit slow (Might want to increase the frame progression before the hit to 1.2). You could also add a cam connect out node to make the camera transition out smoother instead of it suddenly cutting (Would also help mask the camera's lack of movement as kiryu gets up from the kick). You can grab one from any gaiden hact really.
