Boy, he seems to have moved on to bigger, more impressive projects since the last time we saw him. Can't wait to see what the future holds for this chibi.
My mother was an accountant and in those days she had to do the books with pen and Indian ink. When I was 3 or 4 I finally decided to use her pen and ink. After all I was in preschool and I could doodle... I can still recall the smoothness and shill of the ink. I can remember the crisp sound of the pen scratching the paper. I can remember the stickiness if the dry ink on my fingers, hands, checks, 👅tongue,.. I can remembered my mother's face when she saw me and my father's laugh as she try to wash the ink from my face with no luck.
I love it! Must make one for my kids, they would like it for sure! Also I wanted to let you know that my drawings from your tutorials always turn better (I do a lot of tuts now as I really want to learn) - I don't know why but I guess you have a style of explaining that really suits me - so thank you so much! It gives me some confidence that I could draw ok someday if I can do it from your tutorials:). I also really enjoy your tuts for writing stories. I am so grateful for all the knowledge you all share!

Pen scratching on the paper is akin to brush strokes on canvas. ASMR fans from Bob Ross vids would certainly appreciate the scratching pen sounds, and soft narrative -- of which you do very well! I always love it. :D
Must admit with these smaller drawings I enjoy the real time colouring in to be honest. I love drawing too but rarely get a chance to. I vlog my trucking life daily and may try to create a caricature of myself for the channel....

My art teacher in collage said that drawing anime won't get me a job and that made me really sad... Because I love drawing in anime style. Not saying you shouldn't focus on anything else... I'm just saying that I cant draw what I love and I've been drawing pretty much every day for so many years and finally got my own style... I worked so hard on it and now I feel like it was for nothing. I'm studying animation and I find myself drawing anime instead of doing my work like drawing a walking sack ._. I just don't feel like it... It sucks that some teachers don't accept it as art ... And do you really that it won't get me a job anywhere...? He said only in countries like Japan I can get a job... But lets be real now... I wont be living in Japan nor I want to. I mean I'd love to visit it, I love Japan. I just don't see it as a place I'll live in forever. Sorry for the long message... I just wanted to hear your opinion... Will it really not get me a job anywhere...? It does make sense that it won't ... And that makes me really sad...

try using a ruling pen for the lineart they are a lot smoother and you can use inktense pencils for finishing details as they are ink.

try adding some water soluble black ink with some water to watercolour tube paints and it's a nice combo of ink and watercolour...... tfs
