Around @25:00 you show a highlight of how the game will make you miss wide open, and then a lightly contested shot goes in. I just shoot whenever I have space now. And if it doesn't go in... I just shake my head and wait for the camera to flip so I can watch the other team make a tougher 3 or a real percentage close shot.
In 2k, people get smoother/better catch animations on a lob pass...than they do trying to do a standstill catch and shoot. Hall Of Fame catch and shoot and open looks last year....your myplayer will bobble the ball. Same this year.
The lane steals alone are ruining the game for me. I really don't think they play this game before dropping it. You can barely pass the ball if they have a bunch of spammers with a 91 steal on one team. Who ever gets the most lane steals wins the game basically
I noticed @12:34 you mentioned about dimer being HOF and the player missing. Does dimer affect your jump shot, like speed it up? I had a pg with legend dimer and no one could score off his pass but one other player. I also recognized from shooting in the my court that the jumper is different when shooting from the wing and the corner, so maybe that's possibly why they missed? This 2k25 is probably my worst, shooting avg of 48% 3pt, and previous 2ks I was above 50% or more. This year is definitely a struggle for shooting.
In previous 2Ks Dimer makes your early and late edges of the green window. Idk about this year. Seems like passing is even more tied to catches and hitches/ delays for shooters. Passes from Legend Dimer feels like I can instantly snap into my Jumpshot. Or make a move
For shooting, ppl just need to lock in and learn their shot fr. A lot of ppl shoot off muscle memory and not look for their que. I’m liking 2K25 fr, I’m just not off is the teleport strips on dunks and layups! Lanes are a lil annoying and it’s mainly the teleportation lanes for me. I personally pass with anticipation for defense 1st so it’s not that bad for me passing fr. Plus lanes and screen flip steals always an issue every year. 2K23 was the exception bc on ball steals were nutty.
@@ImChrisJones92 I was referring to before 2k as well, this one is a different strategy to come with shooting, but in previous 2k when shot timing was based on muscle memory there was human error that was involved in timing your shot causing you to miss wide open
Lmao idk who you and jmidd get matched up with, because all of my Rec games both teams are hooping every once in a while there’s a guy who can’t make anything but for the most part people are shooting in my lobbies
I'm ready, coach
😂

They don’t play it at all
😔😔😔
Yea, that plus inconsistent shooting and your team is in trouble 😅 passing lanes need to be toned down. Spamming should not be rewarded
invest in some pass or get off the ball my boy
Trust me on this the lane steals is bad IQ, low pass accuracy and past 2ks allowing cheese

Idk what dimer actually does . I feel the like the higher the dimer the bigger the green window should get to the person you pass too .

Im still playing 2k24 rec is rough up there😂
I believe it

you do realize theres human error that also involve in missing open shots
If the game is moving your green window on every shot you shoot , how can the human get blamed?

This is an older game from like the beginning of the year
Man them steals are so trash this year .🤣😂🤣 that #13 guy was in his own world so u got to be more vocal
