- Aloha everyone!! Welcome back to my channel and the first of many Hawaii vlogs!! I am traveling to the Islands of Hawaii for 3 weeks for a "Study USA" program through Elon. We are starting in Kauai, going to Hilo on the Big Island and then ending in Kona! It is an amazing experience so far and I am so excited to share these experiences with you all ❤️

Visiting Hawaii has been some of my favorite vacations and I would love to go back! What was your favorite thing that you did? I think one of my favorites was going surfing on Waikiki but it's so hard to pick because there are so many neat things to do.
Learning about the culture and the land is 100% my favorite part!!

Sooo, Hilo and Kona are both on the same Island called Hawaii or " The Big Island" as they call it. Yeah, so that's actually 3 Islands you will be visiting. I'm sure you'll figure that out. Maui is the Best Island. So visit there if you get a chance! Have fun!
Hilo is on E-coast of Hawai'i island aka Big Island, Kona is W-coast
@@harrymiram6621 yes, but in the video the young lady clearly says she visiting four islands and proceeds to list Kona and Hilo as if they're two separate islands instead of being two towns on the same island.
@@paulmoeller5220...Have seen it, or some variation of misspeak, across numerous vlog entries. Try to Correct as much as possible but am only one person!-lol. That's my Biggest issue...Spewing "facts" w/out dbl checking. And w/Everything fingertip accessible...No Excuse for misinformation!-smh
No, no, no...Hilo on NE of Hawaii Island, Kona on SW side of same island. Maui is, roughly 100 miles/45+ mins. from Hilo/Kona(ITO/KOA)

FYI....Pronounciation tip...When W begins word, pronounce as W..e.g...Waimea(Why-may-ah), Waikapu(Why-kah-poo), Waiahole/Waikane(Why-ah-hoh-lay/Why-kah-nay)...When W is mid-word, pronounce as Vee..e.g...Halawa(Hah-lah-vah), Haleiwa(Hah-lay-ee-vah), Alewa(Ah-leh-vah), Ewa(Eh-vah)....Hawaiian alphabet consists of 12 letters + punctuation mark...A, E, I,O,U...H,K, L, M, N, P, W--Ah, Ay, Ee, Oh, Oooh...Hay, Kay, Lah, Moo, Noo, Pee,Vay. Wow, four different islands and you list Kona and Hilo as if they're different islands. Get your geography straight. Looks like that Canon Camera is an old 35mm film camera, didn't know you could still get film for those.
