Hi Akmal. Yeah, I definitely think the keywords affect results. I've seen it happen with my apps. I have never used paid AppAnnie because it is ridiculously expensive. They quoted me $700 a month for one category. And that was the "indie" tier. Finally, you can try SensorTower. But I'm not sure if there is anywhere you can get volumes of other apps.

Hello again, Homam. No, you don't need to keep changing it. Only change it if you are not ranking well. Like, if you have an app that no one is finding, you need to think about what someone who wants you app would be searching for. What kind of things would they be typing into Google Play? Then, try to get your rankings up for those words. AppAnnie won't update Google Play... they are completely separate. But you can use AppAnnie to measure how well your app is doing for certain keywords.

Or does it require a complete refactoring in Android Studio and uploading a new build ? If this requires a new build and if we are just testing the impact of changing a keyword on the app name, it sounds like a very difficult task. Can you please provide further details about this ?

+Sana Ullah A few years ago a lot of people were reskinning and talking about making loads of money doing it. But I was always skeptical. I tried one re-skin and it did not go well. I think if you can actually add value, it might work. Let me know how you get on. My only re-skin was banned by Google because they said I was copying another app . . . but Apple approved it. Still, hardly any downloads and NO revenue! :-)

Hi Sanjay. You can cross-promote. If you use Admob, you can create a house ad campaign for free to direct users from one app to another. We also did something called a "nag-screen" which would occasionally tell users in one app about the other apps. And, if you have push notifications, you can do that too.
Dont bother giving useless advices because you obviously dont know how the system works Search engine optimization is garbage unless your app already has something like 100k downloads I put the main keywords "trade" and "learn" literally 40 times in my app description, but I dont see my app anywhere when I search for "learn to trade". Mainly because my app only has 50 downloads? Whats more infuriating is that apps completely unrelated to trading simulator game like Quora or Ted turn up mixed into the search results just because theyre big apps. Just dont even bother. Google wants you to fail. Its a rich get richer system. And most importantly they want to make money from you Want your search optimization to even matter? Google wants you to pay them like a million dollars to advertise your app first

Do you mean App review sites where you pay them to review your app? Or do you mean where they exchange your reviews for other reviews on your apps. I have tried the second method without much success. I've been contacted by websites and one TV show to review one of my apps. They had a charge (which sounded stupid to me-- since it is their content) to do this. In the end, I never read app review blogs . . . so I don't think my users would either.

So, as long as you have the right bank account details and meet their minimum (not sure what that is), then you should get that payment. But remember, they take 30%.

No, I change the store listing all the time. Apple might reject it if it is too different, though.

It takes a while to get indexed. For me, it was a slow process to get the keyword rankings up.
