They've been talking about Cooper up here in Maine since before he even hit high school. Pretty insane to have a generational talent from this state, but he's got it all. Size, shooting, hops, handling, passing. Low post, mid post, spot up three or create his own. The most polished 17 year old I've seen in decades, much better long distance shooter than LBJ who at this point just relentlessly attacked the lane with his athleticism. Plus he played some time over in Spain, so he knows what it's like in those crazy intense situations. He's gonna be a special one...

That, alone, is problematic, just as Caitlin Clark choosing to play for a school with very few minorities was an extreme Red Flag and the main reason why she should not have been chosen for the US Olympic team. @@brandoncronan348 There was only a single name on that USA select team that hasn't played NBA basketball and it's Cooper Flagg lol. 10 of the players are actually pretty decent NBA players, two are end of the bench guys, two play overseas, although one of the guys who plays overseas also happens to hold the record for most points scored in a Euroleague game, so he's no slouch either. That USA select team would absolutely decimate any college team in the country and probably most professional basketball teams not in the NBA.
