Fantastic Review! For anyone without rudder pedals, or experiencing MSFS using a controller without differential breaking, we included a simplified ground handling physics option that assists with toe breaking as you taxi on the ground using your rudder. Great way to simulate the control of having individual brakes if you dont yet have the hardware. :)
I was about to ask, there is no steering on the plane, so, you got to control the taxi with brakes? Good! And the other question is, where is the 0 trim on the ailerons and rudder. I cant find it
Awesome video and very happy to see you exploring different areas of aviation! Some tips for you as well! Autopilot does work with the aircraft, especially with GTN-650. Bombs already update weight to 100lbs each automatically, known bug in MSFS not to show in drop down panel. You're pilot should be there, make sure you didn't hide it clicking the seat belt. Otherwise a great video and we appreciate the highlight greatly! Thank you again!
@jonbeckett also check your Pilot settings in the Misc Options menu and try a different pilot. Default is using the pilot on the F/A-18, check if you have that installed. If not, select your own pilot model.
Just bought this plane this morning. I'm looking forward to giving it a fly later today. The only thing that bothers me is the prop spinner when it is flying. Looks far to slow. Other than that it looks excellent. I will have to get the new carrier addon now. It will be interesting to compare it to the Corsair. By the way your absence was noticed. I hope you had a great break.
Fantastic Greg, thank you for supporting our team! We're digging through reviews and comments at the moment, to gather a list of feedback from the community and incorporating the most pressing items in the 1.0.1 post launch update. Even with an extended beta, nothing beats the kinda feedback we get from a larger group of simmers on release. I'll keep your prop feedback in mind and share it with the team. If its something many users have mentioned, rest assured it will be tackled in an update. Cheers, - Dev Mykrode
Unless the developers give me the warbirds to look at (which I will out of courtesy), I'm more inclined to stick to DCS for warbirds :) I still haven't done many videos with DCS - maybe this winter! :)
hi, where can you assign the fire button for the guns in the in-game settings in msfs 2020? didn't find them. thanks and greetings Daniel PS i find out, thanks!
I really fail to see the interest in MSFS aircraft that can drop bombs and fire bullets, when there's a plethora of games that let you do that (DCS comes to mind) with a similar level of realism. I'm very frustrated by the insistence of third party developers and Asobo on releasing all these warbirds and fighter jets when I think I can't be the only one pining for the many popular airliners and passenger aircraft that are still missing from the sim. Saab 340, Dash-8, a proper caravan, Cheyenne, Malibu - the list goes on and on. We have 5 1930's flying boats and duplicates of the warthog and pilatus 24, but no Beech 1900, YS-11, L188...
@@jonbeckett Touché, you're right of course. But I don't think it's the same as if I was complaining about the absence of a given model. Here we have an entire category that is clearly underrepresented, amidst a field where other categories are clearly overrepresented. More than a dozen models have duplicates by different developers, something I rarely saw for FSX or xplane. We have over 50 jet fighters (in a sim without any sort of battle physics) and 80% of the airliners are either Boeing or Airbus, half a dozen of them duplicates or even triplicates with similar or even identical panels. I get that folks like LVFR and PMDG want to stretch their development to sales ratio by turning one project into three or four aircraft, and they do a great job, but I think I have a point when I say that before we get yet another airbus or rare variant of a 737, it would be nice to get an airliner or two that represent the real world from not too long ago when most regional airliners were turboprops. Most people above the age of 40 have traveled in Saab 340's, some US carriers still use Dash-8's, and it wasn't too long ago that I took a Beech 1900 to hop to the next town in Alaska. Just those 3 to start with would be nice. I don't know what sort of market research those guys use to determine what their next project is going to be, but I'd wager any amount that no one asked for a double ender or a rare military trainer. I don't know, am I the only one here?

Any chance this bird will make it to DCS as well?

Aha - maybe I did click the seat belt ? I'll take a second look and do some navigation later :)
Just checked - no pilot showing up - wondering if there's something else going on...

Just been playing with this, really like it. Great plane. As good as the hellcat for less money. Imo
Probably my favourite aircraft in MSFS
Brilliant video.
Jonathan, My Wildcats have a modern pilot. This was mentioned in an earlier review. Maybe you had no pilot weight in the load out.
I had pilot weight. I'll look into it later today.

one more brilliant model
Great video, would you kindly share on video your Tobii settings in MSFS.
My Tobii settings are "stock" - the only thing I've done is zero'd out the eye tracking within MSFS so it just uses head position.
Now that you popped your warbird cherry you should check out the BF-109

Am I seeing things Jonathan or is that white aircraft behind got no wheels, it seem to be sitting on its belly🤣.

Hello, where can I get the aircraft carrier Lexington?
I think I got it from OrbX.

You could always start learning how to build the aircraft for the sim :)

I just want a T-38 😫
@@russellmillett5642 There is one in DCS, which is kind of where you would expect a military trainer. Your wait is over!
typical dcs neckbeard, And yes i play dcs
I think there is a iPad with a lot more options
That's the Hellcat. Different developer team, although there is some overlap.
You ought to get a discount on ramp fees with folding wings. . .
compatible with ai autopilot?
Not tried it (yet)
Bro center your trackir lol
um... it's not trackir.
