The Guards Chapel is lovely. It has the feel of a Salvation Army march (eg Red Shield or Montreal Citadel). Eager to find out the identity of the composer.
@@meadowlands1937 it's rather Spiffing! It was composed by Musician Yas Chu from the Countess of Wessex Orchestra, they won the Household Division March writing competition.
Fabulous video, great clear footage and superb sound. Thank you. I wonder how many hours rehearsal have to be put in for these performances, hours well spent by the looks and sounds of this 😎
I'm sure the guys and girls wished they could do things in their short sleeves more often. I know this is only a rehearsal but still, I'm sure the short sleeves would be welcomed on certain times of the year. But, impeccable as ever.
Great video!
The marches played were,
1) 0:23-The Guards Chapel
2) 2:51-Birdcage Walk
3) 6:03-The March of the King's Men
4) 9:33-Bond of Friendship

Hello
Wonderful to see them in shirt sleeves. As always the music is superb.
Excellent turn out
LOVE LOVE IT❤❤❤💂💂💂💂
Maravilhoso ❤
❤❤❤
The sound is getting better every time. The base drum is not overwhelming anymore. Top tape.
It's not loud because the bands are not providing musical support for marching troops.
I kinda like a deep, powerful bass drum almost towering over the rest of the band....😮
💎♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
love this music, do you know what is this tune

People can produce such amazing things. Why do they always have to bang their heads?
What is the tittle of the 1st march any one there message me
Hello, the first march played by the Massed Bands is called "The Guards Chapel" by Yas Chu.
@@delvinrodriguez3341 Wow! A composition by an Asian? I am proud of him or her. By the way, who's the Grenadier Guards Drum Major?
