I agree the clean up is looking awesome. Baldwin EMC and additional linemen go out power back on the 5th day it went out after 4 hours but after day power had been good.
Beaches are closed until Oct 2. Some if not all of the public beach accesses will remain closed until middle of October as they do repairs to those boardwalks. Still lots of debris along the roadsides with crews picking up continuously so this may make getting around a little slower while they do their work. They are still limiting access between Orange Beach and Gulf Shores as Gulf Shores still has resident checkpoints in place as of yesterday. But I don’t think there is an official word closing Orange Beach off at this time
Some areas did, but I haven’t really got to check that area out just yet. With the clean up still going they’re not really letting too many people in that area. I hope to get over that way in the next week, but was waiting to stay out of the way of the clean up crews. I’ll try and find something out for you soon
Thanks for doing this Greg, we had our first experience in Orange Beach last winter and love the area. We enjoy seeing how things have gone since Sally. Ironically we used to stay in Panama City Beach but decided to move a bit west after hurricane Michael. Now one winter in OB and you get hit by Sally. With that history I hope they let us back!
@@GregWarrenOrangeBeachAL Many thanks Greg, it's looking like you'll have another storm to watch this coming weekend. Please stay safe out there. Tony.
It was farther down the road, the way the video edited to cut out some dead space when it cut back in the truck was in the shot. Optical illusion with the spliced editing
It's Beautiful still ❤.. My Home State.. Mobile Alabama ❤❤❤
Wow! Impressive. Clean up from Laura hasn’t gone as smoothly. Can’t wait to spend time over there in our home away from home!
They have done an amazing job here so far
Out there last weekend, not much repair work has been done, with spring coming I hope Orange Beach will get things back to new again.
I’m surprised at how good it looks after such a rough storm. Looking forward to getting back down there soon. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you for watching
I love the sound of that bridge and cannot wait to be there again!
It is relaxing under there hearing the cars go over
Hey Greg, thank you for doing these videos and keeping us over here in the UK up to date. Tony.
Thank you for watching
Thank you for showing this - I saw my Sweet Home Alabama! Still messed up but it's a work in progress :)
Yes it is. Thank you for watching
Thank you so much! 😀We were down there last weekend and Fort Morgan was flooded still somewhat.
Thank you forwatching

It looks remarkably good considering how much water came in...is the area still off limits to everyone but residents?

Lol just don’t tell anybody that.
We did the exact opposite. We normally stay a week in Orange Beach every September but because of Sally we had to cancel and go to Panama City Beach.
Did the Florabama survive this storm ok? We hope to return there soon. Tony.
Yes the FloraBama survived. Minor damage but not too bad.
