Glossy accents can be used as an adhesive for the clear items. December Daily is a great way to keep your memories for the holidays. I do something similar called Journal your Christmas by Shimelle also a scrapbook designer. I would also suggest using a notebook or even your planner to make notes about a day's events. Enjoy recording your December!
For sticking the rubber pieces down I would recommend red line tape, suuuuuuper sticky but holds them. For your acetate numbers the best thing I use is the Tim Holtz tiny attacher. Enjoy your December Daily.
Oh man, you're making me miss this project. I know I have enough stuff to piece together my own kit but then I'd also have to send Christmas cards so that I could receive Christmas cards to put in my album and... it's basically just a spiral. Haha
Ideas for the numbers they make vellum adhesive which isn't that noticeable, brads are a good option, and you can layer the numbers with like the stars and hide the adhesive behind the decorative piece. Another cute idea is to edge the numbers with white ink to resemble snow. If you look at her past albums, you can get more ideas.
Do you have a craft store near you (like Michael's, Hobby Lobby or Joann's...or even a Wal-Mart or...you can even order online)? For the small numbers, you can get what's called Score Tape. It comes in a wide variety of widths and it is VERY strong double sided adhesive & should work well with holding down anything small. Also, you can get craft glue that dries clear if you need other adhesive to hold down heavy or super bits & pieces. Can't wait to see what you make!!!
Love seeing a non scrapbooker/memory keeper get started and you couldn’t do better than an Ali Edwards kit! For info the see through pieces are all transparency’s...vellum is see through paper 👍🏻
Thank you! I have done scrapbooking before - a long time ago. I do memory keep now (I have a few videos on it), but this is my first time with pocket scrapbooking!
Ohhh Vlogmas AND your daily memory project makes me a little sad that I’ll be vacationing in the Caribbean Dec 7-14 but I’ll have some fun stuff to catch up on in the airport and on the plane ride home!
Now I’m so curious where you guys are thinking for a honeymoon! This is our 20 year anniversary trip! I’m married to a firefighter so we picked December instead of June but it appears California started fire season Mid October 😬. Maybe I’ll travel vlog our Turks and Caicos trip!
If it makes you feel better, I bought all the things too, possibly even more than you. I tried to justify it as well by saying that I'll have leftovers so I won't need to get another kit next year, but let's be real, next September, the new products will be released and we will once again need all the things.
Love seeing the organization too!! If you remove the two pen cups from the bottom area, can you fit the album on its side there? You mentioned wanting it to fit in the shelf there but I'm not sure if it's too tall for that space!
Acrylic pagesAlways come with a protective film on them so they don’t get scratched and rubbed before you use them in your books so you are supposed to peel that film off that the corner started peeling on 👀
What did you do with all the stuff that's normally there? This is a problem I have whenever I'm in the middle of a project and temporarily need extra storage!
It makes me want to do it!! But I feel like I wouldn't want to do it unless I have kids bc it would just be a lot of me and my husband haha which I know would be fine but eh where did you put all of the stuff that was on your desk before you organized? I'm sure the organization will help you actually follow through and do the project!
Yeah, I had the same thought, but I know I still have holiday memories to document! I put some of it on the shelves in my bedroom and then some of it doesn't have a home yet...lol
Can't wait to see how you do December Daily!
Thanks Laken. I LOVE your stacked acrylic drawer organizers! !!:-)

‘I’ve watched a bunch of UA-cam videos, I’m basically an expert!’ 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
You can use a Xyron machine to stick your vellum numbers down that way you don’t see the adhesive.
Great idea!
@@PlanwithLaken Xyron macho e is a super idea!
Wow, what a purchase! Wish I could get some overhere in Europe. Enjoy!
Thank you for making this video. 😊

Thank so much! So helpful!
You may not have meant to upload this exactly 2 months out from Christmas, but very happy you did!! I'm so excited for the holidays!!
I definitely did not, but it worked out!! I am so excited too!!

Thank you! We do have Michaels!
That looks like so much fun! I can’t wait to see how it turns out!
I’m dying at the 5 hours later!
This is me. Buy all the things, the season I bought them for comes and goes and I’m still organizing my products. 😂😂😂
You are supposed to peel it off it is just a protective layer when they are packaged together so no scratching happens

You certainly know how to keep yourself busy. Good job you don’t already have a load of travel and vlogmas 🤣🤣
What a haul! ❤️
Thank you for sharing your haul. I'm excited to watch your Vlogmas videos. Well, let's be honest, I'm excited to watch all of your videos. :)
Aw! Thank you!!!

Some I got rid of and some I moved to another shelf

All of her hard plastic dividers have a protective film that peels off. Praying that one year both Ali and Lara use silver instead of gold! UGH!
That would be amazing!!!
Peel it off! It's just a protector.
Phew that's ALOT of packaging.... I wish they could have found a better way to pack that order.
Yeah, it's hard when it's all available to purchase individually.
I knew I shouldn’t have watched this video!! I am going to go broke!
Some of it is sold out, if that helps lol
@@PlanwithLaken hahah I seen that I was WHEW!!!
