ALF The Complete Series Deluxe Edition DVD Unboxing. (Max Wright's Death)

- Years ago on April 1st 2018 on Easter on the 1st of April which is April Fools Day my mom got me ALF The Complete Collection on DVD released by Lionsgate with the same discs from the individual sets from the mid-2000s and I stop watching it. Then in 2023 Shout! Factory announced that they release ALF on DVD fully restored. I originally got the DVD at Walmart but I had to return it because the cases were damaged but I got this one on Amazon and the cases are in a perfect condition and the discs look perfect. Now when I was watching ALF on DVD from Lionsgate, I noticed that there were something missing and it's the scenes that were cut out because those episodes are the syndicated episodes because they had to cut 4 to 3 minutes of the episodes short because when the episodes originally came they were 24 to 25 minutes long and the 60 minute episode "Try to Remember was cut to 40 minutes but thanks to Shout! Factory all the episodes are now the original uncut episodes that we've been waiting for. And a Special Shout Out to ramboraph4life for talking about the episodes and put his video in the link below. Now the talk about Max Wright's death. I've heard of Max Wright because he played Willie Tanner on ALF and The Norm Show. Well in the Summer of 2019 Max Wright passed away and how I know this. My dad told me when we were up at the cemetery. Max Wright was diagnosed with lymphoma and he passed away from the disease. Thank you Max Wright for all the memories you gave us. You maybe gone but you'll never be forgotten. Enjoy the video.

i bought my copy from walmart today & i’m gonna watch season one tomorrow.
I have that dvd, it’s actually something I recently got last month, I enjoy watching the original broadcast episodes a lot.
I'm glad Shout! Factory release the DVD. Take that syndicated episodes and Lionsgate.

I bought ALF From Walmart as well and the same thing happened to me when I went to open ALF the Cases were Damaged and when I went to return it The Lady At Walmart said they received quite a few ALF Box-Sets Back With Damaged cases Enjoy your ALF Box-Set 😊
I got it on Amazon and the cases are not damaged. I think Walmart needs to take care of those cases so anyone won't get upset or Walmart might get sued and we don't want that to happen.

So all of the 99 ALF episodes are uncut on the ALF Deluxe Edition?
There are 100 episodes on there. Look at the booklet closely.
I never liked the episodes where Alf becomes a presenter for shows like Johnny Carson.
i think its a good idea to keep the lions gate set case the original un-aired pilot for some reason is missing from the shout factory set and its only on the lions gate season1 disc 4
That's right. Also if anyone out there who has both the Lionsgate release and Shout! Factory release, hold the Liongsgate release because that has the un-aired pilot episode but also keep the Shout! Factory release since all the episodes are restored and uncut.
