Wasn't expecting Emma's character to be Ghostface. And her motive was a perfect satire on the world of social media. All some people care about is being famous and getting noticed. Even if it's for bad reasons. Her motive was ridiculous but relevant to the times. Jealous because her cousins life keeps getting destroyed. 😂 "Sidney keeps losing everything and everyone! I want that too!" Emma played it perfectly.
In 2011 people called it a ridiculous and unbelievable motive but over the past decade it has aged like a fine wine.

I have to say, as a 52 year old man, I saw Jaws at 5 or 6 and I still have problems with swimming.
I have a Neve Campbell theory. In Scream 5, it was mentioned that Sydney wasn't in the last Stab movie. I think it's possible that they might be doing some weird meta shit with Scream 6.
They wouldn't mess with the movie's marketing like that. It's box office poison and super bad publicity to announce to the fans that your lead star (Neve) isn't returning... especially when the star is blatantly acknowledging in the press it had to do with a pay dispute. Any sane major movie studio wouldn't risk bad publicity like that for the sake of being "meta".
That would make sense if they hadn't written her a substantial role in Scream 6 and Neve said no because of pay.
So no, they aren't doing that

After a murder, the victim has to check/identify the killer before they take him away... Sidney told the police that there were two killers. How the hell they wouldn't know about Stu's escape? He is dead.

I totally understand where she's coming from about the ring. The Grudge 2 scared the hell out of me when I saw it in the movie theaters by myself during a matinee showing. Now, my wife is Asian and has long black hair. If I wake up in the middle of the night and her hair is covering her face it freaks me out.

I loved her in Scream! Never saw the Ghostface reveal coming in Scream 4. All the others were predictable.
Yes they are my comfort movies too!! My first horror movie I watches was "Poltergeist" and its still one of my favorites.
Neve Campbell made her position clear on social media for a REASON. “Hello!! Is any one in there McFly?” The question is whether the studio and producers got the message.
The studio needs to PAY HER!! And if what she was offered was the ONLY reason she refused to do the next one, then FIX IT!
This is a fixable situation. Simply pay Neve what she is worth!
I feel the same way. The absolute disrespect shown towards the woman who helped make Scream what it is. I really hope the studio listens to the backlash and makes it right with her, but I’m afraid to get my hopes up. Especially since filming has already started. Such a total disappointment. I don’t really have a desire to go forward supporting that studio or they don’t fix their major mess up.
Great idea! Pay her all kinds of money and then they can't afford to hire others so the film lacks other decent actors, while at the same time Neve Campbell has basically been phoning it in and not even putting in any effort whatsoever since like Scream 3. We didn't need her to be in Scream 5 and DEFINITELY don't need her in the sequel. Pass the torch.

Horror movies are also my comfort movies. Like If I just need to unwind, I'll put on a horror movie and it's like that release of fear seems to sooth me for some reason. However, Disney movies, Rom-Coms, Romantic Dramas, and teen movies are also my comfort movies as well like if I'm feeling down I'll turn on something like that to make me feel better. It's weird. I'm the only person I know who can go from watching Scream, Nightmare on Elm Street, Halloween, Insidious, etc. to Mean Girls, Pitch Perfect, Preks of Being a Wallflower, or literally any Disney film and not bat an eye.
Can you imagine if she ended up being one of the killers in the up coming one, can you imagine that’s the tie in with Kirby as well apart from her being in gales show

TBH drew Barrymore is queen of franchise. She’s most popular face/ scene. Being in movie for only few minutes. Her addition is always over looked. However that’s most iconic scene and most memorable part of entire franchise

My 20 something daughter,sweetest person,born on Halloween,after she turned 13 would watch Halloween 1 every night to fall asleep to it. I always new that by the time the end credits rolled she’d be asleep and I would have to go in her room and shut the tv off.
