As an amateur radio operator, the up swing in the solar cycles makes for some great radio propagation. So far, using 75 watts of power from my radio into a piece of wire for an antenna, I have made contacts almost 11,000 miles away. The solar cycle has positives as well as negatives. This is nothing new, it's been going on since the beginning of the solar system, however, our modern society has developed, and relies on, technologies that are vulnerable to the up swing of the solar cycles without consideration of the possible effects. That is our own ignorance, not changes in the solar system. If you are a person totally dependent upon electrical power, conveniences of personal electronic devices, and lights at the flip of a switch, you might want to prepare yourself for periods without these conveniences. Just remember, it's the solar system we live in. Got lemons? Make lemonade. I look forward to a high solar flux index and a low K and A index. Makes for a great time to crank up that ham radio and make some new friends on the other side of the world!

The butterfly graph deals with where the sunspots originate through the cycle. At the beginning they originate closer to the poles and work their way to the equator.
The sun changes its magnetic field through the 11 years cycle from poloidal at the beginning of the cycle to torroidal at the peak of the cycle. The suns magnetic field went out of phase in cycle 24 and is heading for a grand minimum with very low sunspot totals so cycle 25 will be close to the activity of cycle 24. When cycle 26 begins we will see a much different sun than we have in modern times. The suns magnetic field has diminished which has caused the Earths magnetic field to diminish and why we've been in cosmic ray maximum for some time now. Energy is transfered from the sun to the Earth via the IMF that flows into the magnetosheath and is transfered into the LLBL that then enters the L-shell magnetic field. Less energy from the sun means less energy is added into the Earths core. Also energy is stored in the magnetotail of the Magnetosphere.
Will it Magnetic North Marker be at 40° in 2023?
@@cajunlady4893 From my understanding the North and South pole markers on Earth will one day meet in the Indian Ocean. The speed of movement has increased astronomically in the last few decades and no one really knows exactly what will occur when the poles flip. I think the more important question is what happens when the magnetic field of the sun isn't strong enough to hold the energy being created by the solar dynamo at the peak of the 11 year cycle.

Right now its only moving approx 5 miles a month heading towards Siberia.
Earth changes will happen more quickly and powerful as it moves.
The only thing we can do is to wait and see if it will reach 40° maybe within 9 months.
We know earth changes are happening now with extreme weather and earth quakes and Volcano eruptions, floods, landslides, and sinkholes.

i hope with this coming Solar Event, it gives us some kind evolutionary breakthroughs through our human biology that might give us a better understanding about dna evolution to find out if we can find a solution to be able to slow down our cell deterioration leading to be able to grow old slower and lives longer.

@@casualgamerreed um no, you're talking over 4 billion years ago, I'm asking about the last 500 million. The earth has gone though many cooler and warmer periods in the past all while the sun was cooler. Very rough math, the sun basically gets 1% hotter every 100 million years, so 500 million ago it was roughly 5% cooler than today.
