it was very cool to see that collection in person, Im real sorry about passing the virus on to you, sounds like the same thing. i came down with it about halfway on fri, just got released from the hospital tonight. i really hope you find a eager collector for the book.
Would you be so kind to have these scanned and post them online? Many people would love to go through the book or make prints. Amazing find, I love this era of GM.
I'm not sure. The property own had died so can't ask him. Best guess someone saved them from the trash at GM in the '60s and they made their way to the barn where I found them.
We have a signed agreement. It's not like I dropped them off at some guys corner photo hut. I have this video documenting the whole thing. I made it very clear I had a YT channel documenting the whole thing. They handle stuff like this every day. If they just stole stuff and screwed people, there would be way more important people than me up in arms. And do you really think I would have just left them there if I thought the guy was going to steal them?
@ people lie and do dirty things all the time especially car makers who knowingly make dangerous cars and sell them anyway because the almighty dollar is what matters but I believe you’re a pretty smart man that knows what he’s doing.
What a find. This is a wonderful piece of automotive history.
It's amazing!
Definitely a one of a kind collection, belongs in a museum.
I want to pass them along, but it has to be for the right number. Museums generally work on donations and exhibits.
That is really cool Josh, thanks for sharing the story
👍
When I was a kid we would play hockey on the pond there!
That's cool!
What a fantastic find.. From trash to cash hopefully. Great INFO about the GM school... Interesting channel today. Thanks and GOOD LUCK!!
Hoping to make out good at some point.

It wasn't your fault! I think it might have been food poisoning because the other guys were fine. I didn't have as rough as a go as you did!

I have no plans to do that. I want to sell the original collection as a whole.
without cigarettes & whiskey end up with cybertruck. looks like a damn hvac plenum
Cigarettes and whiskey make everything better.
My parents found a large lot of glass photo negs in the trash one time... they were late 1800's of the local town.
Cool 👍
This is so interesting ¡
I couldn't believe it when I started to figure out what I had.
GM is going to want that book. Just watch. They may even try to sue you in court to get it.
Just got back from GM yesterday.
You may want to reach out to Nicola Bulgari collection in Allentown PA. He has a significant collection that includes Buicks of that era.
Good luck.
Thanks for the tip!
@QuickSpeedShop I will accept a 10% finder's fee.
So how did they end up where you found them?

When are you going to see Jay Lenno?
Waiting to hear back from him! 😎
You left those drawings there at GM for them to copy? If you did you may never get the originals back again. I don’t trust these corporations.
