Havertz reminds me of Ozil regarding body language but my favourite part of the game was Gabriel with a block at 3 nil and celebrating it like a goal. What makes me love this season is the passion and attitude from the players. We Arsenal fans have moaned for years about passion and this team is sweating it

The body language might be similar, but the mentality is the polar opposite. Ozil was a prima donna, taking sickies every time there was a tough away game. Havertz works his socks off & is Mr. Reliable with fitness.

Arteta’s 2-3-3-2 is absolutely incredible. I don’t think I’ve seen that before exactly, with the 2 forwards coming from traditionally midfield players. Maybe City have done it at points, but not consistently and not since Haaland has come in. I remember the Liverpool game where that front 2 and their defensive midfielders like Rice and Jorginho worked so effectively. Arteta is an astounding coach. This season has proven that he is not a Pep clone, he is an extremely intelligent tactician capable of moving the ideas of the game forward and considering them at a very advanced level. Hopefully Arteta VS Amorim becomes the next Pep VS Klopp because we’ve already seen from the Europa league that those battles can be very interesting.
It’s not just Arteta. It’s the entire coaching staff.

One thing about this arsenal team this season they sometimes make hard things seem effortless, I watched Brighton have a spell of possession I was like do something then & they did absolutely nothing the 3rd just shows u they are also quick in transition

I am so so so so very scared of Arsenal. ever since they came back from that dubai training camp, they have certainly been the #1 strongest team in the world (by a distance imo). hopefully battling on two fronts becomes overwhelming for them

This team is so hard to score against. I was on my phone when City had the ball. I just didn't feel they would score. 3 clean sheets in one week. Solid.

Truly Arsenal has evolved. During the team's lowest period, I remember some fans complained about what they called defending a blade of grass, as they demanded man-to-man marking. Today the team defended their territory like true warriors and we are all happy. Earlier in the season there was talk about a striker, but now the Gunners lead the scoring charts and we are all happy. We are not wrong to be optimistic about the coming Champions League quarter-finals. We want more and everything else.

Arteta is a mix of Arsenal's to best managers in recent history. The defenive solidity of a George Graham side with the attacking verve of Wenger. I really love the way he assembled this team.

Declan said in an interview last season after he played Arsenal that they are well coached and drilled. Arteta is proving to be a tactical genius, and he is still learning. I'm not going to pretend that I have always backed him. There were moments 3 years ago where I had massive doubts. But now he has the tools (players) to work with his tactics, he is on another level. Arteta is reinventing football.
Im arsenal n i don't think we'll win anything this year, think we'll just miss out on the league but its great building blocks. They built last season n they added another layer this season

I think you might be right. There’s no doubt they’re a serious team who are capable of winning trophies, but I think their inexperience might just let them down. They still don’t have the same ‘been-there-done-it’ players like Liverpool and City which are so essential. Happy to be proven wrong, of course, but challenging again for the PL and getting to the QFs of the CL is a great season for this young team imo. If they win one of those trophies though they’ll deserve all the credit and I’ll hold my hands up. Good luck to em, kinda want them to do it.
I agree we could easily drop off as we still have a lot to play for. However, I think we’re still learning what this team can actually achieve when fully fit. If I was told at the beginning of the year that we would’ve only conceded 4 goals with a + 51 goal difference by April, I would never have believed it. So it goes to show this team is already defying the odds. So it’s best to just enjoy our wins at the moment and take it game by game until the end of the season.

Arsenal and City look like they’re going to win every game. I’m unsure whether Liverpool can keep up with that. I’m going to be very nervous as a red during this title run in. We will absolutely have to push ourselves in each game whilst the other 2 seem like they cruise through their games; we will not win it before the final day, that’s for sure.

“Breeze past” is a bit heavy.
Brighton made it difficult for us, especially in the first half. Not many teams have stretched us and Brighton did it well.
They had one shot at Raya from outside the box that bothered him. We breezed past them, and that was even though Gabriel missed a sitter in the first min and saka missed what he would finish 10/11 times. We weren’t as dominating if that’s what you’re trying to say but they had 0.4xg and we had 3.5 or whatever.

I thought Brighton made it a tough game for our boys. When they realized they were (slowly) being out-footballed they tried make it a bit niggly, a bit cynical, doubtless recalling the game at Anfield last season when at 0-2 up Arsenal managed to lose the thread and almost lose the game. This Arsenal is different to last season. You kind of wish they hadn’t had that massive wobble over Xmas, but if they hadn’t they’d have a 6 point lead to then squander on the run-in!
