Depends on the width of your sprayer / fertilizer. Let's say the sprayer width is 24 meters. So first lane at 12 meters (always half, as shown in video). Next drivelane every next 24 meters or 6th lane. (24 meters divided by the width of your seeder, in my video 4 meters ). You can use the manual counter to keep track of the lanes seeded. Other example: Fertilzer: 42 meters Seeder: 6 meter First drivelane: 21 meters from edge Next drivelane every 42 meters or 7th lane
Man I wish console could have Guidance Steering, Headlands Mgmt, Course play, and Autodrive...it would def relieve the need for this mod which is totally bizarre and doesn't come with ANY directions. I'd love to know the total number of downloads this mod has. I've had it on Xbox for a year and never used it
All those mods would be a lot of fun on console. But the only way we can start using it on console is if Giants is going to include it in the game, I think. As they did with AI Workers (or at least tried). Tramlines remains a fun and realistic way to spray efficiently. Looking at the number of times this video has been and continues to be viewed, the mod is quite popular.
@@spgv I dont see Giants implementing a Lot of the Mods which make this Game actually good bc as it is now the modders keep doing the work for them for free and they can continiue with ridicoulesly overpriced low effort DLCs

Thank you but there is one problem, because I have huge fields, a 30m seeder (original mod gigants) and I need a lot of power for it and such tractors do not have a hitch, they may only have weights
I see what you mean, because you don't have a front hitch. Try attaching the e-drivelaner first, the hoe drill second and the air cart last. And check the driving direction. 'Going' from green to orange indicates the driving direction. You may position the screen from the e-drivelaner left or right from you. Not right in front unfortunately.
you mean changing keybindings for controller ? or do you mean 'on console' ? controller keybindings on console: you can't change 'on console': iirc with triangle (PS) or Y (Xbox).
Should work with seeders (and planters). Use the tramlines to fertilize , spray your fields. Because of the tramlines you don't risk destroying your crops. It's hard to destroy grass in game 😃 So no need to create tramlines. Why what do you have in mind for tramlines with a mower ?
You simply start in a corner with sowing and keep the e-drivelaner deactivated. After a few lanes, you activate the e-drivelaner. The correct lane depends on the width of your seeder/planter and your spreader/sprayer. For more details, check out this video: ua-cam.com/video/GBeFmKiHUqI/v-deo.htmlfeature=shared&t=921
In Farming Simulator, tramlines are tracks you create during sowing by not planting seeds in certain rows. This allows you to easily see where to spray or fertilize later by following the tramlines, saving time and resources.
Will this work with hired workers if I set it up and then hire one to keep a straight line? Also thanks for the video, I hadn’t downloaded it because it looked a little complicated.
Thank you for your comment ! It looked a little complicated to me too. And took me some time to make it work No it didn't work with hired workers. I only tested with the seeder I used in the video. After I dismissed AI Workers I even had to deactivate and activate the E-drivelaner again to make it work by driving myself. I used the number in the bottom left corner to line up the tractor, 0°, 90°, 180° and 270° to drive in a straight line (and cruise control).
Reccomendation: Video would be 1000x better with a voiceover, which literally takes no effort to add compared to the on screen text which takes 100x longer to add in post-edit than a voiceover.
Update: I made a new, more detailed video about this mod:
ua-cam.com/video/GBeFmKiHUqI/v-deo.html
Hey great video but maybe adding subtitles for stick or button commands for each function as well.
Thanks and you're absolutely right !! 🙂 That's one of the reasons I made a second video:

But how do you plan the lanes for the working width of the fertiliser sprayer?
Depends on the width of your sprayer / fertilizer. Let's say the sprayer width is 24 meters. So first lane at 12 meters (always half, as shown in video).

Did you select control group 2 first ? It's L1 + X actually (on PS). I changed the subtitles.
I will try another time bro! Yeah I select 2
But maybe I had the wrong tractor?
@@nordinbleeker7516 every tractor should work but a tractor with front 3 point hitch is easier.
Either I missed something or it just doesn’t work for me
Good question. Without more information, I have no idea 😃
verbally explaining what you are doing would have been helpful IMO
Thanks for your comment. I'm not sure me talking English will be of any great help 😀 Feel free to ask if something needs more explaining.

Skinny tires won't destroy crops problem solved
true, with the tramlines you can see where to drive to fertilize your fields
Does it steer for u ?
No, it is no gps or something like that. This mod is only for making drivelanes, unfortunately.

You're right. Text on the screen (and subtitles in this video) takes a lot more time. But I like to use subtitles instead of spoken commentary.
