it was interesting to hear your working experience cause im around the age where im also just working retail and all that and it sucks man. But as long as I make money ig 😭
To be honest you just play tick really bad. Like the super you should use when a brawler gets close to u. The hypercharge just wait a few seconds for them to get anywhere near each other and then pop it. It is very situational but the value you can get is pretty crazy. Tick also just does so much damage over time its crazy. The gadget and super combo on melee brawlers as well dropping mines on urself means most of the time u just cant die and can be really annoying.
Nobody’s gonna get close to me in most of these maps tho 🤣

what they could do to buff it is:
make the tick head pull the enemy in instead of pushing them out
make the tick head leave a residue thingy like squeak's gadget so they cant escape the mines it leaves so easily

NO. Its good enough with mutation, the fact that the mines from hc stay after first round in ko is insane… pulling enemies to tick head would also result in tick no longer being able to kill mortis :/

Oh i knew it was bad lmao. The mines land too late. If it was instant it'd be cracked. Or if the buffed ticks heads health. Of made the mines stay there until someone stepped on em.

There is a glitch where you can put the hypercharged head in knockout before the round ends and it should keep the mines after it dies in the second round and instantly kill everyone winning the round, idk if they fixed it yet.
It's worse when they won the first time and they intentionally lose the second and tick spawns super right before as he dies 💀 womp womp your team

1. It still dies regardless of the speed if you're fighting players with brains.
2. No one with 2 braincells is walking into bright purple mines, especially when they get knocked back, so the dmg doesn't matter either.
3. They last for like 4s, so that's irrelevant and might even get patched.
4. Mutations are temporary, so that's irrelevant too. We're talking about the Hypercharge itself.
The Hypercharge takes years to get in the gamemodes he's good in (Bounty & Knockout) and the effect is useless against any competent player not playing a brawler with low dmg. (Gene)
Meanwhile there's Sprout, who even though his hypercharge effect is trash, he gets his after 10 attacks and gets more value out of the dmg boost than Tick. '
TL:DR It's trash lil bro. Literally every single other hypercharge in this update is better. You cannot tell me it gets value above 800 trophies. (You sometimes won't even get it once the entire Bounty match.)

he can also dominate in showdown matches and if you don't want it use it like a damage boost like mico or sprouts

@hexorth3580 The area denial is trash lol. Wow guys, it drops bright purple mines that last 4s. Great use of the 24 mines I hit to get there.
Your Super was never meant to be used for area denial. It's an offensive ability. They should've just done the Jessie method and doubled it's health or something.

I would say that making the residual HC mines from his super last longer would make it actually viable, but I hate Tick, so Im fine with his hypercharge being terrible
Ticks hyper charge is a kill confirmation ability. It’s not meant to be added damage on top of the head.
The bombs drop in a larger radius than the head explodes.
Point is if the enemy succeeds in killing the head just before it would reach them, then the bombs that drop are supposed to finish the enemy off instead of they fail to react quickly
Edit: Furthermore when played defensively. Brawlers like mortis, bibi, and other tanks that get too close, the bombs act as an extra defence from this brawlers getting close by creating an area of denial where they don’t want to walk through or they’ll receive extra damage, buying tick even more time to put distance between himself and the enemy. Saves ammo too because as a tick player you don’t need to waste the extra ammo on blocking off the path to yourself because your hyper charge does it for you.
Honestly it’s an impressive feat that the balancing team were able to come up with a hyper charge ability that actually gives tick some extra utility for offence and defence without making it broken. It’s one of the more unique hyper charges that compliment the brawler playstyle nicely.
So the opponent has to kill it at the right place at the right time, then also be unaware of the proceeding mines and run back to the explosion radius for the Hypercharge to get value?

@@Sc5ch it moves faster and activates faster. The enemy does not need to be unaware for it to get value. They just need to not have enough reaction time. Like slow reflexes or a lot of walls that the head can hide behind to get close. Yes it’s incredibly specific but it will get value.
A minor hyper charge ability for a brawler that already has a pretty solid kit and doesn’t need anything too powerful. It would be better suited as a star power if it were any other brawler but tick.
Wish the game wasn’t so laggy and bugged so that i could actually play the game. Since the initial update for the mutations the game crashes within 1 minute of getting into the game. Been waiting for a reply from supercell support as its not enjoyable to hope my bot survives long enough in showdown for me to get 2 eggs over an hour of playing on each of my accounts in my active club

I love tik😋 his hyper is ok. Try releasing his head behind you and attacking in while it’s making its way up the field. That way the enemy shoots at you and uses up all their ammo. Or keep it for Miko, Edgar and other in your face brawlers
