Arbroath cliffs to Auchmithie walk - 2009 - part 2.

The video documents a walk from Arbroath to Auchmithie via the cliff-top path. Various points of interest are highlighted and include a number of caves. There are two parts ( part 1 and part 2 ) to cover the complete walk.

Thankyou for a very educational video. The pictures and documentary were excellent.
I was at Auchmithie to-day and took some video footage of the harbour. Will be uploading it soon.

i tried this path on a bike and not so good. very narrow and path is quite eroded.

The Forbidden Cave. Remember the skeletal remains which we took out and passed to Dundee Museum.

I remember this in the early 50's but was not involved. After the skeleton was found our geography teacher, Mr D A Gardiner was involved in the excavation. The cave was gated for a while but I remember going in and seeing the trench. That was over 60 years ago!
