    How to turn old quad into a real electric beast... this video sure didn't say, or show, much about how to do it. Just a 'pro' rider doing what a 10 y.o. could do. No real specs or stats.

    Just did a 1500 watt eBike and I think an electric ATV will be next. Used ATVs are cheap and abundant.. Great video..It would be nice to see more!!!!

    do you think a 3kw 72v electric motor will work on a small quad

  • @FBPrepping

    The owner spent more of the value of the original Quad for this mod. That was a hell of an oversized battery and motor for such a toy-sized vehicle.

    This is the future, but not so "earth friendly" as the battery components (minerals) are mined from all over the world, some from 2 mile deep pits. Again i do understand this is how things will be, but the minerals will run out.....

    $2,000 you could buy real decent 450 TRX or race bike and had some money left over for parts and upgrades well that ATV hit 70 miles an hour better yet will it handle the abuse of a hardcore riding condition or racing across the desert the saying no $2,000 you can buy a used name brand Kawasaki Honda Yamaha Suzuki it's been tested and proven to handle most apis obstacles electric is not the same as gas the throttle response is a lot different and I bet you your electric will get somebody hurt faster than the gas

      LOUD. I can ride electric all over my neighborhood with zero issue. A gasser will have the police out here in a few hours.

    better yet screw a kit and build it yourself.. its not a satellite or space ship anyone with basic electrical knowledge could do it! and probably under $800! ive been considering something similar on a dirt bike i have with a blown motor.

      Thats not true what about solar panels, wind power, and hydro power not to mention fossil fuels will run out what then?

    • @doughunter3967
      @doughunter3967 5 років тому +1

      kevin orns solar panels- are not recyclable and there are going to be mountains of them soon (bill g and harvard have STATED that they are going to block the sun, to stop the FAKE global warming (an excuse to tax and remove freedom)already happening,-part of the u.n. depopulation agenda)...wind is good if you have(small scale is by far better and less damaging) it and hydro is even better I think(there isn't anough tho...nuclear from thorium can be scaled down and is safe with a 100 year half life- and thorium is everywhere- but the queen doesn't want to use it?- can't make weapons grade plutonium out of it?)...fossil fuels are not from fossils and part of the bigger les we are expected to swallow (they are not going to run out ,they are perpetually being created...electric from coal and uranium nuclear (owned by the queen) are not sustainable or clean so anything os better than those...here in Kanada we are still paying for the construction of already defunct nuke plants... I am a firm believer in alternatives and am going this way myself but as time goes on if we don't (all at once find zero point, I think conservation of energy needs is going to be most important?...God bless friend...doug
