  • New RV owner guide to hooking up the power. We go through hooking up your electric power on your RV and the needed supplies. Our NuCamp Tab 400 is a 30amp and we go over the needed and recommended products for your RV electric hook up. We use a surge protector and I also go over the options of "dog bones" to adapt your RV electric to ensure hooking up is possible with the many different set ups you may encounter when you are out there in your RV.

    Can never go wrong with that surge protector! Last year we invested and installed an inline surge protector. Well worth the cost and insurance on our rig. Nice video about some recommended products from you guys, we like that! - Kyle and Renee

    I was always curious as to how this worked. I feel like a surge protector would definitely be a really smart investment to protect your camper. This was a great video. I loved all the awesome information. I'll have to store this all away for when we finally are able to get our camper!

    Well done, covered all the bases. Having a variety of adapters sure makes a difference. I never seem to have the right plugin. I am only an occasional camper. I wish to be full-time, but that is not likely to happen. Being fulltime retired is enough, for now... Thanks and take care guys....

    I just bought the Jack it bike carrier for our Tab 400 ( Thank you for the tip!) But I am wondering about getting the electric power jack. Have you investigated that at all?

    • @LovingLifeHitchedUp
      @LovingLifeHitchedUp  3 роки тому +1

      Hey Keith, the Lippert jack fits under the Jack it bike rack no problems, they still need to add a plate to fit the bolts when installing it.
      I don't think there is a need for it in my opinion as the hand crank works easy enough with the weight of the Tab it is an easy lift.
      My only negative is if the power jack fails the crank space is limited with jack it in place might make that rough to do for a manual crank operation.

    • @KR-ls8gg
      @KR-ls8gg 3 роки тому

      @@LovingLifeHitchedUp Awesome! Thank you. I will stick with the hand crank .
