In 1979 I worked on the first prestressed post tensioned cantilevered bridge built in Toronto, Canada, on Islington Avenue. To this day,I can still remember the rebar required, and I have the tendonitise and carpal tunnel in my right hand to prove it. Great video, thanks!

great Weazel, great! Good for you, I can feel the love and passion you've had for your job especially for the bridge project. I Hope you the best
Great job! My house was very close to the Sadr bridge in Tehran. It’s one of the masterpieces in construction engineering! The bridge and the tunnel, both of them. Truly Thank you for the 3D animation, which showed the process in detail.

I'm glad you liked it... and it's interesting that despite the real headache the project created for neighbors you can see the engineering greatness of it
This is really cool... while i was driving everyday infront of this construction area in Doha i was wondering how these things are connrcted and suspended without any support. Thanks alot for this really informative video.

tell me again, how are the Segmental Box sections SBS held together? with just prestressed cables? how come these heavy sections (half a ton each) don't just fall down? how these sections stay up, just their own weight alone, not even considering carrying the life loads..??

Really great animation. Which software is used to create this video? Can you please share the name?

Thank you Nishad. Actually many people ask about the software. It was 3ds max, but in all of our videos what makes the difference is not the software, its the technical knowledge of the team and love for what we did. Everybody uses 3ds max :)
' that cooool nice computer animation edit on the video... but too fast motion... calm down programmer computer... remember that earthquake can be easily destroy the bridges down
first, let me thank you for being responsible for the copyright of the video and showing respect for our efforts in the creation of them. You can use whatever part of our videos anywhere with one condition; make it clear for viewers that this is a production of Studio Zindeed. Thanks
I think this is too late for answering your question and you probably had decided how to do yours but as I am responsible for this channel I have to say this animation is made mostly in 3d studio max

Thanks for watching, however I guess today's most vital field of knowledge is not "construction" anymore. Someone will build bridges for you eventually :)
Segmental structures are light weight and constructed using post tensioning of steel tendon cables and ducts which is much more suitable for long span bridges.. due to its geometrical shape we can achieve required moment of inertia and stiffness so deflection will be less and resistance to bending is high since it is posttensioned used steel tendons to reduce deflection due to all kind of loads.. segmental bridges are easier to construct and less vulnerable to crack compared to monolithic construction.. ultimately we save more concrete and construct durable long span structures at faster pace

Another purpose for this product might be an impromptu wartime runway. It would be cheaper than an aircraft carrier.
I still don't understand why this segmental structure can strong enough to support cars above.

Off course, 3ds max, autocad, after effects, Photoshop, vray and some auxiliary softs.
Which software is used for this ?
3ds max as the main software
Other than 3d max, what are the supporting softwares? Tq in advance
not really, we use autocad, photoshop and some general softwares like this as well.
