ahhh I remember back in high school, I watched this mix tape. I admired his vertical and dunking abilities and just trained on my vert only. Now Im 24 years old just love to grab rebounds and dunk till my wrist break.
I'm pretty sure there are some shorter players but body does get affected depending on what sport you do. Basketball kinda makes people taller same way as swimming makes swimmers have wide shoulders and etc. There is a pattern of what develops depending on sport you are doing. But in basketball case, you do have to be tall if you want to reach the basket or outrun all those walking towers who only need like five steps to reach the other side of the court. I would guess that eventually players get sorted depending on talent and height. Can't claim that for sure, sadly am not a basketball player.
