  • Kawasaki KX80 was produced from 1979 to 2000. It was the response to the emerging superclass minibikes of the early '80s. Despite being characteristically detuned compared to adult-size motocrossers, it is still a little beast of a thing! #kawasaki

    I had a 1980 KX 80 and raced the piss out of it for 4 years in highschool we raced against other highschools guys with new KX 80s in 1984 would laugh at my KX but as soon as I kicked it over they all shut up my dad reworked the carb head and exhaust along with installing a new over sized piston running a mixture of nitro from RC fuel I often lapped other riders man I miss that old KX I got riding gear from the king himself Kenny Robert got a set of Scott boots and red and black leathers and worked at Malcolm Smith Motorsports in highgrove California after school cleaning up the good old days

    The 93 bike is really a 91 bike via graphics
