Her partner is her cousin 😊. She could have picked anyone, but yes her partner would have had to gone through her own ceremony
The lyrics sound just like the Navajo language as the Apache are our Athabaskan kin.

It is A LOT. My mom and dad have been saving for a few years for my sisters dance. I never got to have one because we couldn’t afford it at the time.
