- I searched the Internet for a video to replace the power seat switch on a Chevy Cruz and could not find one. So I made a quick five minute one for you hope it helps simple fix. 5 minute job. Tools required are a small flat head screwdriver and a T 25 torques bit with a drill or driver

If you are good at delicate plastic and taking it all apart if the switch is the problem just dragging tiny strips of 600 grit sand paper between with the electrical contacts will remove the carbon build up and get your switch working again. Apply a little pressure while you do this. My 2015 Cruze it seems the motor jammed when the seat was moved all the way to the back. Either that or the motor needs repair or replacement. I don't hear clicking so maybe the motor? That's what they call RnR.

my seat won't move forward but it does everything else.. going to do my own trouble shooting... fuses etc, but i thought i ask..

Process of elimination, if it’s getting power (does all other functions), has to be a motor or a switch. The switch is cheap. Buy off Amazon, try it, if it works 👍🏻 if it doesn’t, send it back 🤷♂️
Great video. I bought the part and switched it. But the switch doesn't go up and down. Just front to back and tilts. It's a 6-Way Power Seat Adjustment Switch Driver Side for 2007-2014 Chevy Cruze. Could it be the wrong one or is there some other issue? Can a fuse be partially bad? The old switch make a clicking noise when trying to go p and down. WHen I replaced it it doesn't make a clicking noise. Could it be a faulty new switch? Help.
I’m not an expert on the matter. Tho your issue tells me half of the switch has power and half doesn’t. Check to see if there’s 2 circuits for the switch. It might take some digging in the manual!
And if it’s one fuse, check for power at the motor for the seat. There will be 2 motors one for each plane of travel. Maybe the motor burned out. Should be an easy fix too.

My chevy cruze driver seat moves forward & backwards, however the switch to lift the seat up doesn't have any response. Will this part solve my problem?
Not sure, the part was 22 bucks on Amazon. Worst thing to happen is you send the part back 🤷♂️

I have two switches too in my 2016. Found this part on Amazon for the same price about 20 bucks
Went to shop and see if they can fix my 2016 Chevy cruise .. and they couldn’t find how to fix it .. but he check the fuses box I’m good!! On the fuse .. so this video was right on cause just mybe this could be the problem.. my car the seat go back and up . But it want go forward.. thank. You for this video
