I literally sent Moonton a suggestion on her revamp, where her sword has a use but sadly my suggestion wasn't used. If you're wondering what my suggestion was, it's basically buffing her passive and giving her another CC skill *Passive:* She will have a mechanic like YSS where she can change weapon( Staff/Sword)depending on the distance of the target. Range attacks are Physical and Melee is Magic. She will gain 5 stacks now and the stacks will change depending on what weapon she uses to cast the passive. *Melee(Sword) will be like Bane's passive but fan shaped and wil deal magic damage and will heal 10% of her max HP for every enemy hero hit. She will also have slighty faster attacks when casting with her Sword (kinda like Freya's passive stacks) *Ranged( Staff) it's pretty much the same but the notes will bounce more and will deal slighty less damage to compensate will the additional bounces. *New Skill:* Odette will spin in an area and will knockback enemies (the distance will be a slightly smaller AOE of her ULT) and slow them for 80% for 1 sec, and will create a circular magic barrier that will last for 1 sec, which can block projectiles( like Lolita's shield or Hanzo's wind wall but a circle) And this can also be casted while channeling her ULT without disrupting her channeling As someone who mastered how to use Odette, I think this revamp is so much better than what we got, it makes Odette tankier and much more dangerous in teamfights.
In my opinion, I think the Odette now is good. The only improvement she needs are: (+) when ult is casted, all passive stacks will be used along the continuous damage. (+) Ult's dash should be anywhere in the radius, not just on the tip of it. (-) Ult dash radius is slightly reduced. I don't think the 3rd one is necessary tho.

As an odette user, I feel like there are more nerfs than buffs on her revamp. Her slow on her 1st skill is critical in chasing opponents. Her 2nd skill has now a delay tho the range is justifiable. The damage reduction on her ult is I think better than the shield mainly because lifesteals and esmeralda can counter the shield unlike if its dmg reduction. The best part of this revamp has to be the dash in her ult so now I can use purify or flameshot instead of flicker. But anything else is a bummer. Overall not really happy with this revamp. Hopefully moonton can buff up her other skills before finalization.
Maybe they should make her shield more thicker and she's immune to cc so meaning you cant cancel her ult if she still has a shield, you need to burst it out first then cc her to cancel it out
I'm an Odette user, I mean I'm literally good on playing Odette. And I'm not happy on her revamped. She seems good during your gameplay because ur playing with a JS user, however, for us solo gamers who uses her, we need the damage reduction than the shield. The shield is uselesss, and even the flick. I'm expecting a synergy passive for lancelot and odette just like what moonton did to Carmilla and Cecilion
I think the dash on her ultimate should be just an option or second phase of her ultimate. So that you can have the chance to reposition odette while casting her ultimate than just dashing before casting the ultimate.
Odette got nerfed. she only gained a dash skill and had new visual updates. She lost her damage reduction. And the NEWEST update on her 2nd skill is that It can only hit 1 enemy and it bounces of another enemy nearby. So she can pretty much only hit 2 enemies with her 2nd skill.
I think the main reason why Moontoon decided to turn Odeth's damage reduction into shield is because they want JS and her to sh1t on everyone because not even their turrets can save them now.
i'm not an odette user myself, but i feel really bad for them with this revamp. she was already bad for her vulnerability in the original server, and now with these consecutive nerfs and delayed ult, they made her even worse.

I saw the older version of the revamp in my advanced server account and her second skill was way better there. Her new second skill scatters the balls a little delayed than the unrevamped Odette. Her first skill is okay and the aesthetic just got better with a more fantasy-like animation. Her Ultimate however is disappointing not only because her Damage is already lesser, but because the Damage reduction was replaced with a shield. However, it's good to see her have a blink skill in her Ult, to help her chase and also escape transcending fields. Also, the dance looks hilarious. She's a ballet dancer, she's supposed to dance gracefully, why does she look goofy af? I think Moonton needs to slow her movement a bit in her dance to preserve the more feminine side of her. Also, her voice changed. It has a more British accent now than before. I admit I like British but I don't like how it came out to Odette. As an Odette Main, the old voice over of Odette sounds better to me. She sounds more ladylike, more heavenly, sweet and Barbie Princessy. She's a Princess ofc. Now, she sounds like a rebel Disney Princess like Merida that shows independence and masculine strength which is Kinda off. I prefer the Old Odette. Her Ultimate's blink skill is an advantage but Moonton should have kept the Damage Reduction. It would be better if the revamp they did was to make Odette unmovable during her ultimate even if airborne/cc skills are thrown at her. This can help her be Immune to Guinivere's,Tigreal, Chou's and other hero Ultimates that make her weaker in the battlefield. The ultimate can still be cancelled if she's suppressed though just like Yve. In conclusion, I like her old voiceover, keep the damage reduction, make the dance more graceful please. She looks like she just started ballet and not a professional. She should have slower pirouettes and the leg shouldn't have raised in front of her, looking like she's trying to expose her panties- is she following Guinivere's Footprints? -_- Her leg should have raised behind her. It would look better. Moonton, I hope you can see this.
Among the four upcoming revamp, Odette has the shittiest one. Sacrificing almost everything for a little dash and a shield that is not even needed (dmg reduction is way more better).
Odette's revamp is imo bad compared to kagura's revamp. ~The 1st slow is too much, no compensation was done for it. ~For the 2nd skill, she can literally root more than 3 enemies with her 2nd skill is possible with her in the original server, it would be good if it would all fan out immediately not one by one. ~The ult tho •~•...hopefully the dash is done while ulting not before the ult, the damage kinda is low compared to other mage ults, also the damage reduction is better compared to a shield since it can be affected by anti-heal and is beneficial to esme, and that animation, I hope it's a placeholder, coz it looks ridiculous, a ballerina hero that can't even dance ballet. She also looks stiff while casting abilities. Been using odette since release, with a 68-75% wr. So don't come at me
Also, when she is CCd while dashing (dash from Ult), her Ult is kinda useless cause it wouldn't just go on CD but it will also deal nothing. I hope they revert some of its CD if she becomes CCd before she can cast her Ult, or maybe CC Immunity while dashing (or maybe not).

They should add the dash effect after she releases the ult like most people would combo using flicker.. jumping in like that in a team fight is dangerous especially for her.
the extra dash is kinda annoying for me because when I'm in a bush I need to reveal my hiding spot instead of not moving, but I position my Ult at the rock so that the dash can't be seen.
Elgin i there is also small change i found while using her,her passive after she use it she can instantly cast her next basic attack it's like freya's passive but if she have more than one passive stack the only one who have fast attack is the normal attack not the bouncing one
Revamped Odette is trash they literally nerfed all her skills and the shield really just a bonus for Esmarelda but don't you worry her 2nd skill can stun more enemies because enemy heroes will always be clustered together the entire game with no cc to stop her especially now that she has shorter immobilization meaning you have more time to escape ult or cc her if she stuns you, its wonderful (being sarcastic) but that isn't the only good thing she now can dance.

do you have any idea how dumb you sound right now? making her immune to crowd control would be more unbalanced than old chou + beatrix initial release combined. it would be the most broken cc immune in the game, being the longest cc immune while dealing the most damage.

Well her second skill is changed again, and now u can only immobilize 2 enemies maximal, after that i can safely say that current odette is better without the revamp

Whenever i use ulti all enemy can now ran away easily and Only embolize 1 enemy... For 1 sec only... Previously it was 2 sec

I saw the older version of the revamp in my advanced server account and her second skill was way better there. Her new second skill scatters the balls a little delayed than the unrevamped Odette.
Her first skill is okay and the aesthetic just got better with a more fantasy-like animation.
Her Ultimate however is disappointing not only because her Damage is already lesser, but because the Damage reduction was replaced with a shield. However, it's good to see her have a blink skill in her Ult, to help her chase and also escape transcending fields. Also, the dance looks hilarious. She's a ballet dancer, she's supposed to dance gracefully, why does she look goofy af? I think Moonton needs to slow her movement a bit in her dance to preserve the more feminine side of her.
Also, her voice changed. It has a more British accent now than before. I admit I like British but I don't like how it came out to Odette. As an Odette Main, the old voice over of Odette sounds better to me. She sounds more ladylike, more heavenly, sweet and Barbie Princessy. She's a Princess ofc. Now, she sounds like a rebel Disney Princess like Merida that shows independence and masculine strength which is Kinda off. I prefer the Old Odette.
Her Ultimate's blink skill is an advantage but Moonton should have kept the Damage Reduction.
It would be better if the revamp they did was to make Odette unmovable during her ultimate even if airborne/cc skills are thrown at her. This can help her be Immune to Guinivere's,Tigreal, Chou's and other hero Ultimates that make her weaker in the battlefield. The ultimate can still be cancelled if she's suppressed though just like Yve.
In conclusion, I like her old voiceover, keep the damage reduction, make the dance more graceful please. She looks like she just started ballet and not a professional. She should have slower pirouettes and the leg shouldn't have raised in front of her, looking like she's trying to expose her panties- is she following Guinivere's Footprints? -_- Her leg should have raised behind her. It would look better. Moonton, I hope you can see this.

Among the four upcoming revamp, Odette has the shittiest one. Sacrificing almost everything for a little dash and a shield that is not even needed (dmg reduction is way more better).
Odette's revamp is imo bad compared to kagura's revamp.
~The 1st slow is too much, no compensation was done for it.
~For the 2nd skill, she can literally root more than 3 enemies with her 2nd skill is possible with her in the original server, it would be good if it would all fan out immediately not one by one.
~The ult tho •~•...hopefully the dash is done while ulting not before the ult, the damage kinda is low compared to other mage ults, also the damage reduction is better compared to a shield since it can be affected by anti-heal and is beneficial to esme, and that animation, I hope it's a placeholder, coz it looks ridiculous, a ballerina hero that can't even dance ballet. She also looks stiff while casting abilities.

Also, when she is CCd while dashing (dash from Ult), her Ult is kinda useless cause it wouldn't just go on CD but it will also deal nothing.
I hope they revert some of its CD if she becomes CCd before she can cast her Ult, or maybe CC Immunity while dashing (or maybe not).

Her first skill was nerfed without any compensation....
Her second skill has lower immobilisation from split balls....
I prefer her ult with damage reduction. Shield is useless because shield can be reduced with anti heal items....
Also, Odette's ult can be stopped during the dash phase with cc.....

They should add the dash effect after she releases the ult like most people would combo using flicker.. jumping in like that in a team fight is dangerous especially for her.

the extra dash is kinda annoying for me because when I'm in a bush I need to reveal my hiding spot instead of not moving, but I position my Ult at the rock so that the dash can't be seen.
Elgin i there is also small change i found while using her,her passive after she use it she can instantly cast her next basic attack it's like freya's passive but if she have more than one passive stack the only one who have fast attack is the normal attack not the bouncing one
I feel a big 'F' with the new heroes and the new revamps. Lance got thicker than odette.
Revamped Odette is trash they literally nerfed all her skills and the shield really just a bonus for Esmarelda but don't you worry her 2nd skill can stun more enemies because enemy heroes will always be clustered together the entire game with no cc to stop her especially now that she has shorter immobilization meaning you have more time to escape ult or cc her if she stuns you, its wonderful (being sarcastic) but that isn't the only good thing she now can dance.
I'd make a lot more sense if she is an fighter/mage to use the sword but they decided not to do that
